The room is 20m² and very bright. It is on the lower floor of the apartment where all the bedrooms are located as well as the bathroom and a toilet. On the upper floor there is the large, open living room with the kitchen and a balcony.
The room will be rented furnished with a bed, desk, large wardrobe, a shelve, an e-piano (which you are welcome to use) etc., there are also a couple of books standing around which you can read. It would be cool, if all of the posters could remain there (of course I will take down my personal pics) and if the few plants survive until I come back :)
The location of the flat is fantastic. It is in the middle of the 7th district, which is full of bars, restaurants, cafés, cinemas, etc. It is a very young district with lots of student-shared apartments :) The 1st district (oldest part of the city) and the Mariahilferstraße (biggest shopping street in Vienna) are a 10-minute walk away; it takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the main university/Meduni/AKH. You can also reach everything quickly with public transport, there's a tram and bus station 2min away and a subway station 5min away.
A Billa (supermarket) is located directly under the apartment and there is also a Spar (supermarket), Hofer (supermarket), Dm, Bipa, pharmacy, tobacconist etc. in the immediate vicinity, so you have everything you need right around the corner.
Your roommates are Christian and Linda, but her room will also be sublet until end of September. We are originally from Italy and have been living in Vienna for a while now. We are a very open, inclusive shared apartment, it is definitely a safe space and it is very important to us that it stays that way.
Christian is 25, a graphic designer and just finished studying Corporate Communications. He's around a lot, works during the day and meets his friends in the evening. He is a very sociable and open person, likes to party and always knows about the hottest gossip.
Linda is also 25, is a medical student in her last year and my big sister.
When she's not studying, she's always on tour. She is very extroverted, does a lot with her friends like playing beach volleyball or paddling and is a very active person in general. She is open, always helpful and also likes to party.
Since Linda likes to travel a lot, her room will be sublet to a 25 year old Swiss woman until end of September. After that, she is probably coming back to Vienna for some time.
You should be open-minded, inclusive and like to have company. You should also be familiar with tidiness and cleanliness, as we like to keep our shared living spaces clean :)
If you are interested in the room and would like to stay with use, please send us a short message introducing yourself and telling us what you do and what is important to you about living together :)
