The furnished room is about 10m2 big, has one window and is furnished (with a bed, two shelves, a desk, mirror, clothes rail and some plants). The room is facing the backyard and is therefor very quiet and still bright.
You don't have to bring bed sheets and towels, cause you can already find them in the room :)
The room is rather small (just as mine) but the 25m2 living room definitely makes up for that!
Shared spaces are the kitchen (no dish washer), bathroom, toilet and the living room (fully furnished). The flat has a total of 66m2.
The room is only available until the end of September because I will move to another flat :)
The flat is located in the 7th district of Vienna, which is called 'Neubau'. It is a rather bobo kind of district with a lot of hipsters, nice cafés and bars.
The house where I live is very quiet, faces the backyard and is still pretty bright.
In a 5 minute walking distance there is the subway U6, the tram 5 and the bus 48A which takes you to the subways U2/U3 in about four stops.
I personally love the district because I live close to a small park where I can read and/or have a beer, there are a lot of nice cafés and it is pretty artsy. (In my house there is also a gallery with constantly changing exhibitions).
I am a 26 year old German that moved to Vienna about 3 years ago. I've studied Chemistry, Eco Design and did a course on project management. Currently I am working as climate protection referee and am also politically active.
Apart from that I am a mix between an introvert and the light version of an extrovert, learn Dutch, read stuff about living a sustainable lifestyle and spend time with my boyfriend (we cook and eat a lot :) ).
It's rather awkward to write this but the past proved me that this is needed: Please only contact me when you're open to clean shared spaces/your room (not just tick of the cleaning plan, I have eyes and I'm not stupid ;) ), are okay to take of your shoes in the flat AND wash your hands after you used the toilet.
Former room mates proved me that this is relevant information that I should share in advance. Sad ;)
