Hello everyone! We are searching for a new flatmate, and maybe it can be you! The room is small and cosy (12m2) with a walk-in closet type of room (3m2) attached to it. It's overlooking the inner courtyard, so it's not much of a view, but it is very quiet. The room is fully furnished, with furniture being about one year old (the furniture fee is 100€). Everything you see on the pictures is included in the furniture fee: the hochbett, couch, table and so on. Although the room is not very spacious, you will have access to a quite comfortable big living room as well as the kitchen, which has its own comfy corner :)
The flat is located in an Altbau, on the 3rd floor of the building (without elevator), in the 16th district. Within a walking distance, you can find a Spar as well as a Billa and just down the street there is a Bipa, Dm, Hofer .....There is also the Lugner City which works until 21h. The area is surrounded by a bunch of restaurants, so you will always have something to munch on!
There are a few green areas around in the neighbourhood, and a few other beautiful nature places fit for a lovely walk just a few stations away.
It is quite easy to get around Vienna from our flat. There is a bus 48a and a tram 9 and 46 that pass by. They are located no more than 2-3 min walking distance. A night bus is just around the corner as well, which can be quite useful after a night out. :) We are also 7 min by foot away from U3 Schweglerstrasse, U6 Thaliastrasse and from U6 Burggasse-Stadthalle.
You will be sharing the space with two people. Miljana (she/her), an Art History/ Gender Studies graduate, and Marlo (he/they) who is moving towards finishing their MA in International Development as well as Gender Studies. We both work, and have many other interests outside university, so we are outside the house a lot.
When at home, we value and respect each other's privacy. However, we also like to spend time together—watch a movie, cook (Marlo bakes amazing vegan sweets), go hiking or for a walk and so on. Currently, we enjoy cooking pumpkin everything and watching spooky movies together. Our plan for the cold months is to explore some museums together as well.
We like to keep the flat clean, especially the kitchen, and we would appreciate a clean flatmate. We welcome our new flatmate to make this their own home as well. Furthermore, we would love to find someone with similar views as us (concerning environment/sustainability, politics, queer, and gender issues). Another thing which is very important to us is to maintain an open and honest communication within the flat. We want the place to be peaceful and for people to be happy to come back to it after a stressful day. Additionally, we are searching for someone who is closer to our age group, having a 18yo as a flatmate would feel like we have a younger sibling living with us :D Hope you understand!
Bedsheets, blankets etc. will be available if you need them.

PS: Smoking is allowed in the kitchen, but please no smoking in the room.
