The room is really big and spacious (25 squared meters) and it is already furnished except for the bed and bed frame. The furniture will have to be taken over but at no costs. The celeings are very high and it has lots of space and a big window.

Included in the rent of the room is also a private bathroom (with sink and shower/bathtub) that will be only used by you. The toilet is shared.

The Wg is located in Meidling (12th distrikt) very close (5 minutes walking) to the U4 stop of meidling hauptstraße and Schönnbrunn. Closeby there is plenty of supermarkets and the meidling mall and everything is easily reachable through U4 or U6 (Niederhofstraße stop).

The life in the wg is very easygoing and cozy. Your roomates will be Veer and Stefan :) it is not a so called “purpose wg” meaning they dont just leave together to pay rent but as they both work during the day it tends to be quiet. However, during the evening when everyone is home it is nice to meet in the kitchen and talk and complain together in front of some nice food :)

Veer is from India and has been living in Vienna for a few years and is currently doing a PhD at Vienna university. He is always up for a friendly chat and he makes the best spiced tea! He often works late, but still likes to be out and travel around. Funnily enough, he is the more introverted flatmate in the wg who also needs his space but is also very respectful of yours.

This is not the case with Stefan ;) he is the more extroverted among us and he is from South Africa. He recently moved to Vienna to work as a project manager in an austrian company. He is also learning german and he loves to chat in the kitchen (as long as you can talk, he is up for discussing all topics from communism to colonization ahah). He is a very valuable flatmate because he has very good movie reccomandations! During weekends he is usually out exploring the city or on a bike tour :)

Both Veer and Stefan are very lovely people with whom is very easy to get along with and that want to have a nice friendly environment in the wg.
