The flat is on the third floor of a house, it has a small lift. The flat is high-ceilinged and with a lot of big windows, therefore the flat is really bright. The room is spacious and well laid out. It has two big windows. It is already furnished with a double, bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, mirror. The furniture could stay in the room. You could also bring your own furniture.
We have a big living room with an open kitchen and a co-working space. Toilet and bathroom are separated. The bathroom has a shower and bath tub. We have also a nice balcony, which can be reached from the common space. Unfortunately, the lift and toilet are quite small so only limited wheelchair accessible.
The flat is one-minute walk away from U3 Hütteldorfer Straße and the 49er BIM stop is in front of the house. City center can be reached within 15 minutes. There are bakeries, supermarkets (Billa Plus, Penny), Bipa and DM, and restaurants close-by. Schloss Schönbrunn or the Wiener Wald are easy to reach for having a walk.
We are 3 very amazing people who want to overthrow patriarchy and like to exchange about strategies with other people to do so. :-)
We are all working, part-time and also sometimes in home-office. For the home office situation, we have set up a shared workspace in our living room.
As housemates, it's important to us to be together and have a sense of solidarity while respecting our time for oneself. We really love to cook and eat good food! We share most of the stuff. Normally, if someone is cooking, it is shared among all of us.
We share care work among each other and like to have joint cleaning sessions from time to time or everyone just cleans what is needed. As we enjoy if our flat is clean and tidy.
For us, respectful and solidary living together is really important, as well as a good way of communication.
We think that all things can be discussed. If needed, we come together on an irregular basis for a flat talk, to discuss important issues or make plans together.
LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC persons are especially welcome. We are looking for non-German speaking people, in order to keep the balance between German and non-speaking German people among us.
If you are a cis-men please let us know, how you are part of overthrowing patriarchy.
We are also open if you want to share the room and want to move in with more than one person.
The room would be free from end of June an earlier or later solution would also be possible. Feel free to contact us, we are flexible with moving-in dates.
The rent is 580 Euro, this includes all bills and also your private liability insurance.
If you decide to move in, you have to pay a deposit of 300 Euro. If this is a problem for you, please let us know, we can find a solution together.
