Und was geht garnicht?

ROOM:
The room is a typical old building cabinet room. It's small, but has high ceilings and can be made very cosy. The nice thing is the orientation to the backyard, away from the street and instead of car noise you hear backyard sounds. It's perfect for sitting at the window and looking up at the sky and watching the ivy grow on the backyard house.
The room is adjacent to the kitchen (floor plan picture, top right) and the window faces north. In the neighbouring (through) room lives Robert and in the middle is the living room and bathroom and then comes Matthias' room.
The room is completely empty. But we are happy to help get things, or we have furniture in the flat that we don't necessarily need and can make available.
LOCATOIN:
In the 15th district, we are very well connected. The U3 Schweglerstraße and the 49er as well as the 9er Bim are around the corner. By bike it only takes one big swing and you're already at the Gürtel or in the 16th district. And the Westbahnhof is a good quarter of an hour's walk away.
Exil, Cafe Z and Cafe Kriemhild are also around the corner. The Stadthallenbad is just down the street and a large, lively square is also around the corner. There are more than enough shopping opportunities near and far; up the street is the Meiselmarkt, with fresh vegetables and everything else you might need.
LIVING IN OUR FLAT:
We are Robert (35) and Matthias (29). Robert is an elementary school teacher by day and has his kiddies play with him, and by night he is a musician and plays a few concerts in and around Vienna with various bands.
Matthias often can't tell night from day, is probably forever writing his master's thesis and at the moment almost everything revolves around political work and finding an appropriate balance to it.
We live an undefined flat-sharing life, lead very different everyday lives and our eating habits and activities also go in different directions. This does not mean that our life together is not or cannot be communal. We like to have visitors, drink a glass or two together and chat about our experiences. In addition, we are both very enthusiastic about music and have a few instruments in the house.
Consideration and communication are extremely important to us. Agreement with each other and understanding for the different realities of life should always be discussed.
We all want to feel that we can speak up if something bothers us or is missing or if we have wishes.
Everything else can be redesigned.
OTHERS:
Write us a few words about yourself and how you imagine living together in a shared flat.
How do you spend your old age? What do you absolutely have to have? And what is not possible?
You should not be sensitive to noise. The flat is very bright (old building). And in the (back) house there is a band room where various bands rehearse from time to time. We don't find it disturbing at all. It's actually quite nice to hear jazz drums or a big band from time to time.
We are happy to hear from you.
