Ein schönes Zimmer in einer gemütlichen WG direkt am Yppenplatz und Brunnenmarkt.
Das Zimmer hat 12qm und ist straßenseitig, wobei man aber sagen muss, dass auf der Straße kaum Autos fahren. Man kann im Sommer problemlos bei offenem Fenster schlafen.
Einige Möbel sind schon drinnen: Ein Schreibtisch, Stuhl, Schränke sowie ein Hochbett. Du kannst sie gerne gratis übernehmen, oder sie auch rausschmeißen und deine eigenen Möbel reintun.
Es gibt auch ein kleines Wohnzimmer, in dem wir auch mal Party machen, Filme schauen und so weiter.
Weiters gibt insgesamt drei Duschen und zwei WC-s, so dass du keine Angst haben zu brauchst, dass jemand eines davon länger blockiert :)
Die Küche ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet: Geschirrspüler, Ofen, Airfryer, Gasherd, Tiefkühler etc. etc.
First of all, about the room in question:
It's 132m and has two windows which are facing the street. But no worries, there's hardly any traffic on the street, so you can sleep with open windows also in summer.
The apartment is directly on the Yppenplatz (if you don't know the place, google it, you won't regret it!), so what you'll hear is mostly the faint voices of the people sitting in the pubs :) All in all it's a, well, kinda romantic place to live.
You can keep the furniture that's already inside the room or just throw it out and use your own.
The apartment as such is about 100qm big and has 3 rooms.
There is also a small cabinet which we are using as living room where we hang out, watch movies and open a bottle of wine or two.
All in all there's 3 (!) showers and two bathrooms.
Since the apartment is next to the Brunnenmarkt, there plenty of shopping possibilities. Also, the Tram lines 44, 46 and 2 are all withing 5 minutes walking distance. The U6 Josefstädter Straße is also just 4 minutes away.
We are G. (male, 39yo) and R. (male, 23yo) We come from Austria aus Taiwan.
All of us are politically interested and active to some extent. If words like "anti-sexism" and "anti-fascism" aren't just meaningless phrases to you, we would appreciate it very much.
It would be best if you could visit us directly at our flat. If that's not possible we can arrange a video call, too.

Wir sind direkt am Yppenplatz, im pulsierenden Herz Ottakrings.
Am Brunnenmarkt kan man sehr günstig Lebensmittel kaufen und auch an Möglichkeiten zum Nachtleben wie auch einen gechillten Cafe am Nachmittag gibt es mehr als genug.
Ebenso toll sind die Öffi-Anbindungen: Die Straßenbahnlinie 44 ist zwei Gehminuten entfernt, die Nummer 2 vier und die Nummer 46 ca. 6 Minuten. Auch bis zur Uni sind es also nur ein paar wenige Stationen.
Keine 10 Minuten entfernt befindet sich auch die U-Bahn-Station Josefstädter-Straße.
Wir sind zwei Typen, beide mit langer WG-Erfahrung.
G. ist 39 Jahre alt, von Beruf Japanisch-Übersetzer und ist im letzten Semester seines Japanologie-Studiums. Geboren und aufgewachsen ist er in Österreich, spricht aber auch Slowenisch, BKS, Englisch und natürlich Japanisch.
R. ist 23, aus Taiwan und hat, bevor er in Wien angefangen hat zu studieren, schon einige Jahre in London gelebt und dort seinen Bachelor gemacht. Er spricht fließend Deutsch, Englisch und natürlich seine Muttersprache Mandarin.
Wir sind jetzt keine WG, die dauernd zusammenpickt, weil wir recht busy sind, sind aber auch keine Sozialphobiker, keine Angst ;)
Wichtig ist uns, dass du hasserfüllte Ideologien wie Rassismus, Homophobie, Sexismus oder wahnsinnige Verschwörungstheorien ebenso ablehnst, wie wir es tun.
Und falls du mal Bock auf ein Bier oder vier am Abend in der WG hast - auch dafür ist bei uns eigentlich immer Platz :)
