Ab Anfang Mai wird bei uns ein WG-Zimmer frei! Das Zimmer ist ~17 m2 (ca. 440 Euro warm) groß. Das Zimmer ist sehr hell, die Wohnung selbst liegt in einer kleinen Einbahnstraße, 4 min. vom Yppenplatz entfernt.
Wir haben eine gemütliche Küche, ein Bad mit einer Eckbadewanne und einen kleinen Durchgangsbalkon, den wir uns mit unserer Nachbarin teilen. Über den Balkon kommt man vom Stiegenhaus auch in die Wohnung und er ist perfekt zum Rauchen, Kaffeetrinken morgens oder zum Abkühlen im Sommer, da er nie direkte Sonne bekommt. Es gibt einen Innenhof und einen kleinen Garten, den alle Hausbewohner*innen nutzen können, mit Wäscheleinen und einigen Tischen – auch zum Sporteln ist ausreichend Platz.
Für das Zimmer wäre auch eine Kaution zu hinterlegen ( ca. 1000 €). Wichtig wäre vor allem, dass du bereit bist, eine kollektive Hauptmiete zu übernehmen, also mit deinen Mitbewohner*innen gemeinsam als Hauptmieter*in den Mietvertrag unterschreibst. Der Vermieter ist (für Vermieter*innenverhältnisse) recht in Ordnung, der Vertrag wird immer auf fünf Jahre aufgesetzt und der aktuellste Stand ist, dass er sich das durchaus auch noch sehr lange vorstellen kann – das heißt man hat hier auch die Sicherheit, dass man man theoretisch den Mietvertrag verlängern kann, soweit gewünscht.
Es gibt im Haus einen Aufzug, der ist allerdings recht klein und über eine einige Zentimeter hohe Stufe zu erreichen.

One room in our three-person shared apartment will be available, planned for the beginning of may. The room is 17 m2 (approx. 440 euros). The room is very bright, the apartment itself is in a small one-way street near Yppenplatz. We have a cozy kitchen, a bathroom with a corner bathtub and a small walk-through balcony that we share with our neighbors. The balcony is perfect for smoking, drinking coffee in the morning or cooling off in summer, as it never gets direct sun. There is an inner courtyard and a small garden that all residents can use, with clotheslines and a few tables - there is also enough space for exercising.
A deposit would also have to be paid for the room (~ 1000 €). Above all, it would be important that you are willing to take on a collective main rent, i.e. sign the rental agreement with your roommates as the main tenant. The landlord is quite okay (for landlords), the contract is always set up for five years and the most current status is that he can still imagine it for a very long time - that means you have the security that you can theoretically extend the lease, if desired. There is an elevator in the house, but it is quite small and can be reached via a step a few centimeters high.
Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Gasse in der Nähe vom Yppenplatz, wo es viele Cafés und Bars gibt. Im Sommer ist es richtig angenehm, draußen zu sitzen. Der Brunnenmarkt ist ums Eck. Direkt vorm Haus gibt es außerdem einen schönen, grünen Gemeinschaftsgarten. Wir sind gut an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angebunden. Das Stadtzentrum ist sehr schnell zu erreichen und die Steinhofgründe (großes Wald- und Wiesengebiet) sind mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nur 25 Minuten entfernt.

The apartment is located in a quiet alley near Yppenplatz, where there are many cafes and bars. In summer it is really nice to sit outside. The Brunnenmarkt is around the corner. There is also a beautiful, green space right in front of the house. We are well connected to public transport. The city center can be reached very quickly and the Steinhofgrund (large forest and meadow area) is only 25 minutes away by public transport.

Zu uns und wie wir uns zusammen leben gut vorstellen:
Isabella (25): Ich habe Kulturwissenschaft studiert, arbeite nun in Teilzeit an der Uni und im Homeoffice. In meiner Freizeit backe ich gerne für meine Mitbewohnis, tanze und schaue Serien. Mir ist es wichtig dass wir als WG auch mal Zeit zusammen verbringen, zusammen kochen o.ä., und dass offen miteinander kommuniziert wird.
Lisa (27): Ich bin in der Endphase meines DaF/Z Studiums, gebe Deutschkurse und versuche nebenbei meine Masterarbeit fertig zu schreiben. In meiner Freizeit probiere ich gerne neue Kochrezepte aus, häkle und versuche mich manchmal am Stricken oder spiele Brettspiele. Mir ist gemeinschaftliches Wohnen wichtig und wir sind jedenfalls keine Zweck-WG, sondern quatschen oder unternehmen auch gern mal was zusammen.
In unserer WG haben bisher immer queere und an Feminismus interessierte Frauen und nicht-binäre Personen gewohnt und wir würden uns freuen, wenn das so bleibt. Idealerweise suchst du auch etwas Längerfristiges (mindestens 1 Jahr) und hast schon mal in einer WG gewohnt.
Wir lieben Katzen, Bewerber:innen mit Samtpfoten-Begleitung sind also auch willkommen.
Wir freuen uns von dir/euch zu hören! Wir würden uns über ein Kennenlernen freuen, bei dem wir ein bisschen quatschen und dir die Wohnung zeigen können.

About us:
Isabella (25): I am currently working part time at the university of Vienna, often in home office. In my free time I like to bake, dance and watch TV shows. It’s important to me that our flat spends time together, cooking or playing games, and that we communicate openly with one another.
Lisa (27): I am about to finish my studies in German as a Foreign/Second language and am working on my master thesis. I also already started giving german classes at a language school. In my free time I like to cook, crochet, play boardgames and sometimes I try to go to the gym. I also like spending time with my flatmates.
The apartment is currently inhabited by women and non-binary / queer trans people and we would like to keep it that way. We would be happy to live with someone interested in feminism, who ideally has already lived in a shared apartment. Ideally you are looking for a long-term place to stay (at least one year).
We like cats and would be happy to also welcome a new cat in our flat. We have lived with a cat in the past and it worked well.
