DAS ZIMMER

In deinem zukünftigen Zimmer (15m²) gibt es ein schönes Bett aus Holz (1,4×2m) mit Schaummatratze. Das nach Osten ausgerichtete Fenster (2×1,5m) sorgt für viel Licht. Außerdem haben wir große Kästen im Vorraum, und ein großzügiges Kellerabteil.
Die Gasse neben den Schlafzimmern ist sehr ruhig, und man kriegt kaum etwas mit.
DIE KÜCHE
Unsere Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank, Geschirrspüler, Gefrierschrank, Ofen, Herd, Mikrowelle, Mixer, elektrische Kaffeemühle. Geschirr und diverse Kochutensilien haben wir auch, und es gibt genug Stauraum für gutes Essen und Getränke. Wir essen gerne auf dem Tisch in der Küche (mit bequemer Sitzbank), den man sogar ausziehen kann falls wir mal eine Dinner-Party schmeißen wollen.
DER BALKON
Direkt von der Küche gelangt man auf den Balkon (9m², und breiter als die Küche).
THE ROOM
In your future room (15m²) will be a wooden bed (1,4×2m) with a comfortable foam mattress. An east-facing double window (2×1,5m) brings a lot of light into the room. The room furnishings are complemented by a height-adjustable desk, an office chair, a large wardrobe, and several shelves on the wall, which offer plenty of storage space - in addition, we have large wardrobes in the hallway, and a generous cellar compartment.
The alley next to the bedrooms is very quiet and you can hardly hear anything.
THE KITCHEN
Our kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, hand mixer, and an electric coffee mill. Tableware and various cooking utensils are also ready to be used to create delicious meals and snacks. You like snacks? We do. There is also enough storage space for food and drinks. We like to eat at the kitchen table (it has a very comfortable bench), which we could potentially pull out in case we want to throw a dinner party.
THE BALCONY
Directly from the kitchen you can step out onto the balcony (9m²), which is wider than the kitchen. In summer it’s great to sit outside with a glass of wine, cigarettes, and enjoy the evening with some nice people. We are buying an umbrella these days, as well as some plants that we can then use in the kitchen.
Wir wohnen zwischen Manner-Fabrik und Ottakringer Brauerei (dort finden regelmäßig coole Veranstaltungen und Clubbings statt…finden wir sehr praktisch). Mit den Öffis ist man generell in ca. 20 Minuten an beliebten Orten in Wien; mit dem Fahrrad gehts sogar noch flotter (in 10 Minuten ist man zB beim Rathaus am Ring, oder bei der Uni). Besonders nice finden wir auch die 6 Heurigen im Umkreis von einem Kilometer (ein gutes Achterl gibts dort ab 2,70€).
Zum Yppenmarkt/Brunnenmarkt spaziert man 10 Minuten und kann dort alles mögliche zu sehr guten Preisen einkaufen, oder sich einfach gemütlich bei einem der zahlreichen Restaurants, Bars, Cafés, oder Beisln hinsetzen.
Diverse Supermärkte, Bäckereien, Apotheken, Trafiken, sonstige Geschäfte, Friseure , Restaurants, Gasthäuser, Beisln findet man in Gehnähe, großer Vielfalt, und en masse. Falls du Schokolade magst, daneben gibts einen Manner-Shop wo alles im Abverkauf angeboten wir. Zum Ausgleich gibts in der Umgebung auch genug Fitness-Studios und Parks.
U-Bahn: U3 Ottakring (10 Gehminuten), U6 (Stationen Alser Straße oder Josefstädter Straße, 10 Gehminuten)
Straßenbahnen: 2, 9, 43, 44 (jeweils 2–3 Gehminuten)

We live between the Manner factory and the Ottakringer brewery (there are regularly cool events and clubbings…very practical for us). By public transport many popular places in Vienna can be reached in ~20 minutes; with the bike you can reach everything even faster (e.g. in 10 minutes you can be at Rathaus, the ring street, or a university). What we especially enjoy are the 6 Heurigen within a radius of a kilometer, where you can get a good glass of wine starting at 1,60€.
You can walk to Brunnenmarkt and Yppenplatz in 10 minutes where you can buy all sorts of things (a lot of fresh vegetables), or just chill at one of the numerous restaurants, bars, cafés.
Various and many supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, tobacco shop, hair dressers, restaurants, or bars are all within walking distance.
U-Bahn: U3 (Station Ottakring, 10 walking minutes), U6 (Stations Alser Straße or Josefstädter Straße, 10 walking minutes)

Bei uns daheim läuft es generell gemütlich ab. Wir trinken gerne mal ein Glas Wein am Abend, kochen gemeinsam was feines, oder erkunden die örtlichen Lokalitäten. Wir haben keinen Putzplan, aber halten unsere Wohnung sauber und ordentlich. Wir genießen ein solidarisches und respektvolles Miteinander. Wenn wir manchmal unsere Ruhe brauchen funktioniert das auch super.
Deine neuen Mitbwohner sind Waldemar (30) und Raphael (31). Waldemar ist ein enspannter Chemiker aus Deutschland, mag Techno, gutes Essen, und spielt gerne Tischtennis. Raphael arbeitet als Programmierer und Designer (am Freitag auch manchmal daheim), mag guten Wein, ist für ziemlich jeden Spaß zu haben (Pinguine besuchen, tanzen…), und stöbert gerne auf Bauern- oder Flohmärkten.
Wir suchen eine bodenständige Person; ob du arbeitest oder studiert ist uns gleich. Wir hoffen du hast Lust auf gemeinsame Aktivitäten wenn es die Zeit erlaubt, einen Sinn für Humor, und weißt Wein und gutes Essen zu schätzen. Ansonsten sind wir offen für entspannte und interessante Menschen. Super wäre es wenn du LGBTQ+ freundlich und nicht rassistisch bist. Internationals sind auch herzlich willkommen.

Things are generally chill at our home. We sometimes like to drink a glass of nice wine together in the evening, cook, or explore bars/restaurants/etc. We don’t have a cleaning schedule, but we keep our home clean and tidy. We enjoy a solidary and respectful togetherness. If we need some space that works very well too.
Your new roommates are Waldemar (30), and Raphael (31). Waldemar is a chill chemist from Germany who liked techno, good food, and playing table tennis. Raphael works as a programmer and designer (on Fridays sometimes from home), likes good wine, and is up for anything fun (visiting the penguins, going out and dancing until dawn). He likes to go to farmers and flea markets.
We are looking for a grounded person; if you are working or studying is the same to us. We hope you are in the mood for doing some activities together if time allows it, that you have a sense of humour and appreciate wine and good food. Please be LGBTQ+ friendly and not racist. International are also warmly welcome.
Wir sind alle Hauptmieter in der Wohnung, also mit allen Rechten und Pflichten die dazu gehören. Unsere Vermieter sind ganz lässige Menschen mit denen wir noch nie ein Problem hatten.
