Zimmer in wundervoller WG mit Garten

Die WG liegt im 18. Bezirk, in der Martinstrasse und ist somit sehr gut an Öffis angebunden und umringt von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Billa, Hofer, Denns, Spar), Banken, Post uvm.

Direkt an der Haltestelle Martinstraße der Straßenbahnlinien 40 und 41, die zur U-Bahn-Anbindung Währingerstraße/Volksoper fahren. Zu Fuß sind es zur U-Bahn ca. 7 Minuten. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sind es 10 Minuten in die Innenstadt (Schottentor) und zu Fuß etwa 30 Minuten. Auch in Windeseile ist das Alte AKH erreichbar. In der Nähe befindet sich außerdem der Türkenschanzpark für Spaziergänge und mit der Bim bist du schnell beim Pötzleinsdorfer Schlosspark. Der Kutschkermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke, alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Spar, Hofer, Denns, dm sind innerhalb von 2 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Außerdem ist die Neue Donau relativ nahe mitm Radl, optimal für nachmittägliche Erfrischungen im Sommer :)


Location

The shared apartment is location in the 18th district on Martinstraße and is very well connected via public transport. There are many facilities and shopping possibilities such as the post office, pharmacy, local council, bank and supermarkets (Billa, Hofer, Spar, Denns) within just a few minutes walk.
Directly on the tram stop of Martinstraße 40 and 41 which takes you in a few minutes to the Währingerstraße/Volksoper underground station. With the various public transports available you can reach the city centre (Schottentor) within 10 minutes, via foot in 30 mins. Das altes AKH, is also close by. Türkenschanzpark and Währingerpark is just around the corner for a stroll in the green or a game of table tennis. With the tram you can be at Pötzleinsdorfer Schlosspark in around 15 mins. The outdoor street market Kutschkermarkt is the next street over, while all other supermarkets like Hofer, Denns, Spar, Billa and other facilities like the pharmacy, bank, post office are just a few minutes walk from the apartment. Another highlight is that the Donau Insel is relatively close via bike, which is super nice for an afternoon swim to cool down in summer 😊

Das Beste ist aber sowieso das WG-Leben. Wir sind fünf Menschen im Alter von 24 bis 32 Jahren ( Martina, Matze, Rosie, Lena und Verena). Die meisten von uns haben eine berufliche Tätigkeit und gehen zusätzlich noch weiteren Projekten nach. Wir beschäftigen uns u.a. mit Sozialarbeit, Politikwissenschaften, Musikbusiness sowie Kunst, Gartenarbeit und Jugendarbeit. Unsere Interessensthemen sind weit gefächert vor allem sozial, ökologisch, politisch und (queer-)feministisch. Achtsamkeit und unser aller Wohlbefinden sind uns wichtig. Wir haben es gern sauber und ordentlich. Wir möchten gerne am Leben der anderen teilhaben, und wertschätzen und leben die Gemeinschaft. Es wird oft zusammen gekocht, meist vegan oder vegetarisch und manchmal ergibt sich auch ein Ausflug, oder wir gehen zusammen etwas trinken, tanzen oder was Wien sonst zu bieten hat. Wir machen aber auch nicht ununterbrochen etwas zusammen und Rückzug ist jederzeit möglich. Häufig ist auch mal jemand unterwegs und dann ist es besonders schön, wenn wir einmal im Monat in voller Runde am Tisch sitzen, um unser Plenum abzuhalten, um Allerlei zu besprechen und die Zeit zu genießen.

Falls wir wirklich dein Interesse geweckt haben, freuen wir uns dich ebenso etwas besser kennen zu lernen. Dazu schreib uns doch gerne ein bisschen mehr zu dir, was dich so interessiert in deinem Leben, mit welchen Themen du dich so beschäftigst und wie du deinen Alltag so verbringst. Shared Living

We think the best part of our shared apartment is living together. We are five people between the ages of 24 to 32 (Martina, Matze, Rosie, Lena und Verena). The majority of us work and have other projects in addition to that. We are engaged in social work/sexual pedagogy and political science, the music industry, accountancy, as well as art, business, garden work and youth work. Our topics of interest are wide-ranging but resonate with a (queer-) feminist, left, ecological standpoint. Consideration for each other’s wellbeing is important to us. We like the place to be clean and tidy. We like to take part in each others lives and value our community life. We often cook together, mostly vegan or vegetarian. Sometimes we make a trip out of town, or rather we stay local and go for a drink, or a dance somewhere, perhaps some cultural event or to join a political demonstration. We don’t spend all of our time together though, and a retreat from the group is always possible, time to one’s self is respected. Often we are each out and about with our daily lives, so it’s especially important for us to come together as a whole group once a month for our Plenum, to check in with the up keep of the place and community, share responsibilities and to also just enjoy the time together, usually eating some kind of yummy food.

Sonstige Kosten: 67€ für die Foodcoop. Die leckeren Lebensmittel, die wir uns alle teilen und die wir zu einem Hauptteil von einer FoodCoop in Gersthof beziehen machen die sonstigen Kosten aus. Darin enthalten Mitgliederbeitrag + monatl. Betrag für Lebensmittel. Solltest du Veganer*in sein, dann wäre es etwas weniger.


Additional costs: 67€ for the food cooperative. The delicious groceries we all share and that we buy largely from the food cooperative in Gersthof count for the majority of the additional costs, this takes into account the monthly membership fee, as well as the costs for the groceries themselves. If you are vegan this cost will be slightly reduced.
