We are renting out a fully furnished private bedroom (10m²) in our quite, green and central located maisonette apartement (90m²) at the top floor with a beautiful rooftop terrace (16m²), fireplace and a bikecycle included.

The apartment is located in the 20th district (Brigittenau) of Vienna, in a central yet quiet and green area, near the Friedensbrücke, the Danube Canal, Wallensteinplatz, Hannovermarkt and the Augarten. Underground station U4 Friedensbrücke in approx. 5 minutes and U6 Jägerstraße or U6 Spittelau approx. 10 minutes away, tram lines 5, 31 and 33 can also be reached on foot in approx. 3-5 minutes.

The 20th district is treated as a new trend district, but this only affects a small part around the Augarten. And this is exactly where the apartment is located between Augarten, Wallensteinplatz, Hannovermarkt and the Danube Canal.

In the once Jewish-dominated quarter, which today has many migrant structures, things are getting hip and therefore you can already find the beginnings of a trendy local scene in our "Grätzel": In and around the Augarten there are various bars, beer gardens and restaurants and there are in between many Balkan & Turkish grill restaurants and doner kebab stands. The Karmelitermarkt in the 2nd district and the SummerStage in the 9th and the many pop-up and beach bars along the Danube Canal are also not far and easily reached on foot.

In short:
In the immediate vicinity of the apartment you will find everything a hungry-thirsty-sociable or just lazy heart desires, 2 minutes' walk from the front door to Hofer, Billa, Penny, Etsan (4 supermarkets), BIPA (drugstore), an ice cream shop, one Bakery, post office, pharmacy or to the Hanover market (a market where you can buy cheap meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, bread, etc., on Saturdays there is even a regional small farmer's market).

ON THE GO, AROUND VIENNA:
From here, almost everything is more or less within walking distance: the city center in about 20 minutes, the Danube Canal and Augarten just around the corner.

If you prefer to use public transport, you will find the subway stations U4 Friedensbrücke in approx. 5 minutes and U6 Jägerstraße and U6 Spittelau approx. 10 minutes away.
Tram lines 5, 31 and 33 can also be reached in 3-5 minutes on foot.
The Prater (accessible by tram 5) and the New and Old Danube (accessible by U6) are also just a few stops away from here.

If you own a car: If you rent the room for a longer period, you can apply for a resident parking ticket from the City of Vienna and then park in the designated parking spaces in front of the front door. Otherwise, the short-term parking zone applies here in the 20th district. That means Mon-Fri between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. in the evening you have to buy a parking ticket in a "Trafik" shop or download the mobile parking app and book a ticket. Note that you are allowed to park max. for 2 hours in this short-term parking zone. At Spittelau subway station (approx. 10 minutes' walk away) there is a Park & Ride car park where you can park your car overnight for little money: € 3.60 per day, € 18 per week or long-term parking tickets.

We are a multicultural couple: Santy (37, Colombian) brings the rhythm, the mood, the sunshine and "tranquillo" from Latin America and Hanna (36, German) is the organized and warm-hearted interior design queen of the apartment ;-)

We have both been in the tourism industry for many years and last year we started our own business in Colombia with a small start-up in tourism. However, the current Covid-19 crisis has presented us with a few challenges and we have decided to stay in Vienna for a while and let our Colombian dream wait a little longer.
Sometimes we work from home and therefore from time to time we open our home office in the living gallery, but we don't want to restrict you in your home.

We are open, very sociable and communicative people and look forward to cooking together and drinking a glass of wine or beer together.
We are not a party flat, but we have nothing against social gatherings and sometimes invite a few friends over for a barbecue or a drink.

You can rent the fully furnished private room for a short or long term (available from October 1st, 2020). With the rented room it is possible to make the registration form (Meldezettel) in Vienna.

We are happy to arrange an online viewing via a video call with you to get to know each other or you can just come over and see everything live on site.
