Schönes, gemütliches 26m² - Zimmer in zentraler Lage

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer fantastischen Lage gleich um die Ecke von der Votivkirche und der Hauptuni und liegt sehr nah am Stadtzentrum. In 10 Gehminuten ist man im 1. Bezirk. Die U2-Station Schottentor erreicht man zu Fuß in 5 Minuten. Von dort fahren außerdem die Straßenbahnlinien D, 1, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 71 und die Buslinien 1A und 40A. Gleich um die Ecke befinden sich ein Spar und ein Billa, ein Bipa sowie einige gute Take-Aways (z.B. unser Lieblings-Sushi-Lokal ;)). Außerdem ist der Billa am Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof, der auch am Sonntag offen hat, leicht mit der Straßenbahn zu erreichen. Des Weiteren ist man in 10 Minuten am Donaukanal, perfekt zum Laufen und Spazieren gehen.

The flat is located in a fantastic area right around the corner of the Votivkirche and the university. Plus, it is very close to the city center as the first district is within walking distance (about 10 minutes). The closest metro station is Schottentor which can be reached by foot within 5 minutes. From there you can take the U2, trams D, 1, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 71 and the busses 1A and 40A. Around the corner, there are grocery stores like Spar and Billa, the drug store Bipa as well as several nice take-aways (e.g. our favourite Sushi place ;)). Plus, there is a Billa at the station Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof which is also open on Sunday and can easily be reached by tram. Furthermore, you can reach the Donau channel within 10 minutes by foot - perfect if you want to go for a run or a walk.

Wir sind Alexandra (26) und Timo (25), studieren im Master Gender Studies und Wissenschafts- und Technikforschung an der Universität Wien, sind beide sehr lustige Mitbewohnerinnen und viel unterwegs. Wenn es die Zeit zulässt, ist die Küche unser zentraler Treffpunkt für abendliche Pläusche. Es kann sich aber natürlich auch jede*R jederzeit zurückziehen. Sauberkeit ist uns beiden ein großes Anliegen und nicht nur ein notwendiges Übel. In unserer WG haben zudem Dinge wie Rassismus, Sexismus oder Homo- und Transphobie nichts verloren! Wir würden es extrem feiern, wenn du auch so tickst.

Alexandra hat Kultur- & Sozialanthropologie studiert und liebt es zu schreiben und zu lesen. Doch ihre wahre Passion gilt der Musik! Sie schreibt eigene Songs, singt leidenschaftlich gerne und brint sich selber Klavier und Gitarre bei. Sie liebt die spanische Sprache und versucht ihre Kenntnisse dauernd zu erweitern. Wenn sie nicht auf einem Konzert oder im Kaffeehaus zu finden ist, vergräbt sie sich gerne hinter einem Buch.

Timo studiert nicht nur an der Universität Wien, sondern arbeitet dort auch als Studienassistent und lehrt zudem an einer Hochschule in Deutschland. Sein Studium und seine Arbeit sind ihm sehr wichtig, vor allem, weil er auf eine akademische Karriere hinarbeitet. In seiner Freizeit liest er sehr gerne und viel oder schreibt an eigenen Gedichten und Büchern. Timo liebt inhaltliche und persönliche Gespräche bei jeder Gelegenheit, die sich ergibt.

We are Alexandra (26) and Timo (25), studying gender studies and science and technology studies at the University of Vienna, are both very funny roommates and always on the move. Whenever there's time, the kitchen is our central meeting point for chats in the evening. However, of course, everyone can always go back to their room to have their private time. Cleanliness is of great importance to both of us and not just a necessary evil. In addition, things like racism, sexism or homo- and transphobia have no place whatsoever in our flat! We would really appreciate it, if you see this the same way.

Alexandra studied Cultural-& Social Anthropology. She loves to read and write but her true passion is music: She writes her own songs, is a passionate singer and plays the guitar and the piano. She loves the Spanish language and wants to improve her speaking skills all the time. If she is not out on a concert or sitting in a coffee house, she is singing or nose-deep in a book.

Timo does not only study at the University of Vienna but also works there as a teaching assistant and teaches at a German university as well. His studies and work are very important to him, especially as he strives towards a career in academia. In his free time, he loves to read a lot and writes his own poems and books. Timo loves topical and personal conversations as soon as an opportunity arises.
