Das Zimmer ist ca. 18 qm groß und grundlegend eingerichtet (Bett, Regale, Sessel, Teppich). Die Einrichtung kann aber z.T. auch gerne im Keller verstaut werden, falls du deine eigenen Möbel mitbringen möchtest.
Abgesehen von den zwei Schlafzimmern gibt es eine geräumige Küche, wo auch die Waschmaschine steht, ein Bad und ein separates WC sowie ein derzeit wenig genutztes Mini-Wohnzimmer mit dem Charme eines Wartezimmers einer medizinischen Praxis. Letzteres freut sich über kreative Umgestaltungsideen.

The room's size is about 18 square meters. Basic furniture (bed, shelfs, chairs, carpet) is available but you may also bring your own if you prefer.
Apart from the two bedrooms, there's a spacious kitchen (where you can also find our own washing machine), a bathroom and separate toilet as well as a somewhat neglected pseudo living room that bears some resemblance to a waiting room at a doctor's office. The latter would gladly accept any creative ideas for a remake.

Gelegen im 19. Bezirk in einer ruhigen Parallelstraße zum Gürtel.
5 min zur U6- und U4- bzw. S-Bahn-Station Spittelau und damit schnell unterwegs in quasi ganz Wien, 5 min zu den Straßenbahnlinien 37, 38, D (schnelle Verbindung zu Hauptuni/Ring). Außerdem gut gelegen für Ausflüge in die etwas außerhalb liegenden Weinberge.
Großer Eurospar 5 min, dm 5-10 min entfernt, weitere Shops entlang der nahegelegenen Döblinger Hauptstraße.

Located in Vienna's 19th district on a calm street parallel to the "Gürtel" main street.
Close to public transportation: 5 min to the metro (U6, U4) and train station "Spittelau" und thus basically close to everything else in Vienna, 5 min to tram lines 37, 38, D (quick connection to Uni of Vienna and Ring Street). Good starting point for trips to the vineyards at the northwestern outskirts of Vienna.
Groceries and other shops 5-10 min away along the Döblinger Hauptstraße (a main street near the apartment).

Dein Mitbewohner wäre ich, Thomas. Ich bin 27 Jahre alt und habe vor kurzem meinen PhD begonnen. Ich interessiere mich für und lerne gerne neue Dinge und Gedanken und probiere auch gern mal Neues aus. Ich mag es zu reisen und bewege mich gerne. Ich arbeite tagsüber und habe an ein paar Abenden unter der Woche regelmäßige Termine wie Sprach- und Tanzkurse.
Eine gutes Gemeinschaftsgefühl, wo man nicht nur neben einander her lebt, ist mir sehr wichtig. Was genau zur einem guten WG-Leben gehört, können wir gerne gemeinsam entscheiden. Für mich ist in jedem Fall ein aktives Gestalten des Zusammenlebens wichtig sowie ein offenes Ansprechen von Problemen und anschließender Lösungssuche.

Your room mate would be me, Thomas. I am 27 years old and recently started my PhD. I am interested in and like learning about/doing new things and thoughts. I love to travel and like to move! I work during the day and have a couple of regular evening activities (such as language or dance classes) on some weekdays.
For me, a good atmosphere and community feeling is important. What, specifically, constitutes a good WG life is something we can decide on together. For me, it's important that we actively shape our WG-life. I also believe it's important to openly and constructively bring up and talk about any issues, problems, misunderstandings that might occur, so that we can find a solution together.
