As my exchange year is coming to an end, my room in this lovely WG will be free from July 1st (or possibly a couple of days before). You will be living with four lovely people; David from Colombia, Paulina and Christi from Mexico and Dani from Austria/Vietnam, so this is a very international WG. The main language in the apartment is english, but naturally with 3 Latinas there is also some spanish. German is also spoken by Dani and Christi, while David and Paulina is more in the learning phase.
We like to arrange some WG-evenings sometimes, where we eat and/or drink and dance together. Also, friends are often coming over and of course always welcome to join these parties. We don't have a living room unfortunately, but we can fit quite a lot of people around the dinner table when we want to. There are also 3 other student apartments in the building, and at times we are invited to join parties or BBQ in the other apartments.
The WG is situated about a 5 min. walk to Spittelau station, and this provides you public transport opportunities to all over town. From Spittelau, you have access to both U4 and U6, the train, the D-tram line and the 37A bus. Other busses and tram lines are also found close by. This makes it the perfect place to live as a student, as you can get to many of the universities in no time. There is also a parking garage where you can park your bicycle (and maybe also a car, but you'll have to ask the landlord).
The price of 320 € includes everything; heating, water, internet etc. Once a week the common area is also cleaned by a cleaning personell. The room is furnished and includes a bed, closet, table chair, table lamp, shelf and trash bin. The white IKEA KALLAX and the clothes rack (see pictures) are not included in the contract, but could be left in the room if you wish. There is also already a duvet and some pillows in the room, and some bed linens.
