ERASMUS STUDENTS WELCOME! Sunny room in cozy WG from FEB-AUG

So, und jetzt leg alle Vorurteile dem 21. Bezirk gegenüber beiseite! Es ist nämlich unheimlich schön hier. Die Wohnung befindet sich 5 min zu Fuß von der alten Donau entfernt. Hier kann man lange spazieren oder laufen gehen. Außerdem ist es nicht weit zur Donau bzw. zum Donauradweg, falls du gerne mit dem Rad fährst! :) Grundsätzlich ist diese Gegend keine, in der man sich nachts fürchten müsste. Ich hab mich hier immer sehr wohl gefühlt! :)

Floridsdorf (U6/Sbahn) erreichst du in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. In 4 min. Gehzeit hast du den 33A, der auch nach Floridsdorf fährt. Zur 25er oder 26er Straßenbahn sind's zu Fuß auch nur ca. 7 min. Also bist du von der Infrastruktur her auch sehr gut angebunden :)

Zur Hauptuni brauchst du ca. 20 min (dadurch, dass die S-bahn so schnell ist - du bist in 7min am Praterstern) und zum Campus ca. 30. Auch zu den anderen Unis ist es nicht weit.

Ein Billa ist direkt in der Straße, aber grundsätzlich hast du bei der U-Bahn Station Floridsdorf alle Möglichkeiten der Welt: Billa, Müller, dm, Penny, usw. Direkt gegenüber ist gleich eine Ärztin, also falls du mal krank werden solltest, ist auch dafür gesorgt! :)

Momentan leben mein Freund und ich und eine Freundin von uns, Anna, in der WG. Da mein Freund und ich uns aber eine eigene Wohnung suchen werden, suchen wir Nachmieter für unsere beiden Zimmer. :)

Anna ist eine unheimlich liebe und aufgeschlossene Krankenschwesterschülerin, die dadurch sehr ausgelastet ist. Wir sind also KEINE Party-WG. Es soll aber auch keine Zweck-WG sein, also ein Zusammensitzen ab und zu wäre schön. Sonst wird auch der Freiraum eines jeden akzeptiert. Ausschlaggebend ist, dass die Kommunikation funktioniert - dann kommt alles andere von alleine :)

The room is about 21m2 and faces the courtyard, so it's very quiet. You'll have no problem when sleeping with an open window! It's the brightest and sunniest room of the flat, which I really enjoyed. I'd prefer to take my furniture with me. If you're an Erasmus student and need furniture, I'll see what I can do!

The rent is 262€ plus about 38€ for electricity and gas heating. So, all in all the room will cost you approximately 300€ per month, which is really nice!

Overall, the shared flat consists of 3 rooms, 2 of which are to be rented from mid Feb to August. We also have a comfortable kitchen (and space to get together to drink a glass of wine or just chat a bit) and a bathroom with a bathtub, which is, again, really nice! :) We've also got a dishwasher, oven and a washing machine is in the cellar, so you'll have everything you need :)

Please note that the WG probably exist only until August 2018. So this room is especially interesting (and a very good choice) to you if you're an Erasmus student and want to spent some additional time in summer here in lovely Vienna!

Well, life here in Floridsdorf is really nice! The 'Alte Donau' is just 5 min walkway from our flat. In summer, you can swim there, or you can take a walk, ride a bike, or do whatever you want! Honestly, I really enjoyed the location of the flat, you really don't have to be afraid when going home at night and it's really quiet.

You reach the station 'Floridsdorf' (U6/Sbahn) in about 10 min by foot. The bus 33A is also nearby (3-4min by foot; it can also take you to Floridsdorf), and the trams 25 and 26 can be reached within about 7 minutes.

Thanks to the Sbahn, you can be at the University of Vienna in about 20min. All in all, since you have so many trams, buses, the U6 and Sbahnen, you can be nearly everywhere in about 30min.

There's a Billa in the street (3-4min walkway) but basically, you have every shop you need at Floridsdorf (Müller, another Billa, Spar, dm, etc.). So, you'll have everything you need! :)

At the moment, my boyfriend, I and a friend of us live in the flat. My friend and I now dare to move in together, so we'd rent our rooms. :)

Anna is an open-minded and really nice girl. She wants to become a nurse, and therefore she has to study a lot. So it'd be helpful if you respected that - It's no shared flat in which there are always parties and such. However, at the weekend, she (almost) always goes home to Upper Austria, so what you do then will be up to you! Communication is key, and we expect you to be friendly, say 'hello', and just be respectful.
