Hey hey! Because our flatmate is leaving Vienna, we (Pinar, health caregiver; Martin, UN, IAEA, Software Developer), both easygoing, are looking for a nice, social, friendly flatmate (m/f, 25-35). For us it's important to have a cozy, warm atmosphere, people around who would enjoy hanging out, joining cooking, eating, drinking time to time and who leaves common areas as found.
The typical Viennese “Altbau” building has an elevator leading up to our first floor apartment. It has high ceiling, big windows and wooden parquet floor.
We have a big hallway, a large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a big bathroom with bathtub and washing machine and a separate toilet. I have a digital piano Yamaha P45, pianists and amateur piano players are most welcome to practice :)
Your 26m2 separately accessible room has a window to a quiet inner yard, not the brightest but has absolute no street noise. If you want, you can take over bed and mattress, table, shelves, little couch, clothes rack, curtains and lamps for 130€!
The apartment is in the 3rd district (Landstraße) in the middle of Vienna right around the corner of Schloss Belvedere and the brand new main train station Hauptbahnhof. The connection to public transport is ideal with tram lines O, 18 (right in front) 71, D (6 minutes' walk), subway U1 station Hauptbahnhof (3 minutes by tram) S-Bahn stations Quartier Belvedere and Rennweg (8 minutes’ walk), bus lines 13A and 69A (3 minutes by tram).
So you just need 20 min. to UN., 20 min. to Hauptuni, 15 min. to Oper, TU or Landstraße, 5 min to St. Marx Biocenter, 30 min. to WU, 5 min. to the international train station, 20 min. to Erdberg international bus station and 30 min to the airport.
Everything you need on daily bases such as grocery stores (Billa, Hofer, Penny) is a couple of meters down the street. Bipa, DM, a pharmacy and tobacco store are just around the corner. Two Spars (06:00-23:00) are just ten minutes away, which are also open on Sundays.
The best part, if you want to go for a run, relax in the green or have a picnic, you just have to cross the street and find yourself in the big parks; Schweizergarten and beautiful gardens of Belvedere!
The rent is 370€ plus 70€ for gas, electricity and internet. The deposit is 800€.
