This room is part of a fairly sizeable flatshare but you will have your own exclusive entrance from the outside directly to your room and you will not share any walls with other flatmates. The room itself is 12 m² and comes with a single bed with two sets of bedding, desk with office chair, a small table and comfortable chair, lots of shelving and a sizeable wardrobe. Newly renovated and in very nice condition, it is a nice cozy space to come back to at the end of the day. I am perfectly happy with this place but I am moving in with my best friend to a different part of the city. I have already paid rent for the month of February and if you move in I will not ask to split the rent, meaning you will get the rest of the month for free!
It is located at the corner of Schönbrunner Str. and Mauthausgaße but your windows will face the quieter Mauthausgaße. It is between two nice parks and a very short 2 or 3 minute walk to the U4 line at Margaretengürtel, only 3 stops away from Karlsplatz. Margaretenstraße is also a short walk away with a more bohémien vibe with plenty of interesting restaurants, cafes and arts spaces. Mariahilferstraße by contrast is only a short walk north of 20 minutes with Gumpendorferstraße along the way also offering a wide variety of eating establishments.
The flat is generally quiet and is definitely not a party house which makes it conducive to studying. The flatmates are all international students in their 20's and are all very friendly and cooperative. English is the standard language spoken.
