Hello !
Welcome to our english speaking flat.
Since our roommate Florian is moving to Brussels, there will be a room available from 01.02.2019.
The room can be rented permanently and is 20-21m² big.
As you can see on the pictures, in theory it was supposed to be a connection room. In practice, we are not using it like that. The door by the mattress has no handle, so you can't open it. At the other door, there is a closet blocking it from the other way, so you will have it quiet if you want.
The appartment itself is seperated in a "west" and an "eastwing". You can enter into it seperatly through 2 differnt doors.
It is quite difficult to discribe, so just come over and look at it by youself :)
The room itself won't include any furniture, so it will be completely empty - so you can design it exactly how you like.
The appartment is pretty central in Ottakring. There are various supermarkets (Billa, Spar, Hofer and Lidl) in the area, to the nearest one you won't even need 2 minutes.
The tram "2" (stop Römergasse) is 2 minutes away and the subway station "Ottakring" are around 6-7 minutes by foot.
The flat live is pretty easy going.
Most of the time we are in our big living room, where we set up a sofa, ps4 (including netflix) and a vinyl player. In the evenings we hang out pretty much every day, and if someone has had a bad day there is no problem at all if he wants to go to the room.
In our flat there are currently 3 people living:
Katharina aka "WG Chef"
Katharina is 22 years old and working as a chef, which obiously is pretty handy for everyone. She originally comes from Upper Austria. She speaks English and German.
Kathi enjoys listening to vinyl and Wurmhöringer.
Mike aka "Little boy"
Mike is 21 years old currently working as a english kindergarden teacher. He comes from England near London. Mikes level of german is pretty good, but the main language spoken in the apartments is english anyway.
He likes photography and Wieselburger.
Manuel aka "Manimaus"
Manuel is 24 years old and currently working as a logistics operator. He originally from Tyrol (Innsbruck).
He likes eating and Tiroler Bier.
