Due to my leave to another city, I will be happy to find a new owner for my cozy and bright room.
The room is a part of flatshare located on the top floor of a house (elevator available). Size of the room is c.a. 12,5 m2. There are two big windows, what brings lots of the light during the day and provides a great view on the night city. Currently, the room is fully equipped and I will be very happy to sell out almost all my furniture to the new owner (the price we can discuss personally).
The flat was recently renovated and consist of 3 private rooms, huge living room merged with a kitchen, big bathroom with bathtub and toilet, and a 2nd separate WC. In addition, we have a small nice terrace, where you can do barbeque during the summer or simply read books and chill out. We also have a common storage room with big closets, what is very convenient for the keeping your belongings.
Location is very convenient for commuting - by 5 minutes walk you can reach Simmering train/subway station which will bring you fastly to the city center, main railway or bus stations. As well, it's very convenient to take trains to Bratislava, in case you have flights from there.
Directly in front of the house, you can find the tram stop # 71 and # 6. There is a night bus stop in front of the house as well.
Regarding shops, the closest one - is a turkish shop Etsan (just few minutes from the house); in a walkable distance are located Billa, Spar, Lidl and Hofer. In three tram-stops you can find a Simmeringzentrum with plenty of shops like H&M, C&A, Müller and etc etc.
Overall the district is very safe and quiet. There are several small nice parks in close proximity, cycling path which will bring you to the Donauinsel and Prater. I personally enjoy running at Am Kanal area, which is very green..
We are three PhD students, Nick (it's me who is leaving), Simona and Tanino - both Italiens.
The atmosphere in our flat is cozy and relaxed. Quite often we are doing things together - hiking, having common dinners, getting out of the city. Both Simo and Tanino are very nice and easy-going people. I would strongly recommend them and prospective flatmates.
Nevertheless, participation in the flatshare life is not mandatory, the cleaning according the schedule - is a must!
We are speaking English/Italien and would like to keep the friendly atmosphere in our flat.
