Your room feels bigger than it is thanks to two big windows with a beautiful tree right outside and a lot of light coming in. There is a platform which you can use as bedroom or even living space due to the high walls. You have quiet a lot of storage space which is practical for this room and doesn't take away space. The room will be without furniture!
The flat is located in the 4th district right on the St. Elisabeth-Platz with a big church surrounded by coffee places and every saturday there is a food-market from local farmers. 5 minutes walking from Hauptbahnhof, 5 min walking from Belvedere Park, 15 minutes walking to Karlsplatz, there are lots of public transport connections nearby.
You'll be living with Gérald, a talkactive, open-minded, mate-drinking person working in international relations, Elda a wild, cat-loving (but some dogs too) contemporary dancer, and Xavier, ice-swimming-champion, who likes to listen to french music, works as a researcher on bio-engineering and is allergic to cats.
We're best described as a chill spontaneous community. We often sit together for a tea, dinner or a beer and talk about everything, politics and ways to change the world and it systems. On Saturdays we like to go to Naschmarkt to explore the fleamarket and the farmers-market.
We speak mostly English in the wg, but we also speak French Spanish Italian and Dutch! We all would be happy to live with a german speaking person to learn the language more ;)
