In unserer gemütlichen Altbau-WG gibts ab 1. Mai (viel) Platz für dich. Das Zimmer ist 29 qm2 groß, hat einen Parkettboden und zwei wunderschöne große Fenster nach Westen (v.a. Nachmittagssonne) durch die man das Treiben auf der Liechtensteinstraße herein lassen kann (die bis Juni durch Begrünung noch schöner werden soll).
Das Zimmer wird (anders als auf den Fotos) unmöbliert sein, du kannst dich also austoben und es dir genauso einrichten, wie du es magst. Wenn du möchtest, können der Kasten, das Bett und die Deckenlampe gegen eine kleine Ablöse aber gerne übernommen werden.
Die gesamte Altbau-Wohnung ist 93 qm groß. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer, ein Bad mit Waschmaschine drin und ein WC mit Fenster, das vom Bad getrennt. Außerdem gibt's eine vollausgestettete Küche mit Spülmaschine und ein Wohn-/Esszimmer direkt im Eingang. Der Wohnbereich wird wahrscheinlich ziemlich leer sein, wenn du einziehst, weil die meisten Möbel unserem derzeitigen Mitbewohner Tim gehören und er sie beim Auszug mitnehmen wid. Wir können das Vorzimmer also gern gemeinsam neu gestalten und du kannst auch gern praktische Dinge mit in die WG bringen.
Die Wohnung ist im 2. Stock. Für die Faulen gibt`s aber auch einen Lift...keine Sorge.
There will be (plenty of) space for you in our cosy flat share in an old building from 1 May. The room is 29 square metres in size, has a parquet floor and two beautiful large windows facing west (mainly afternoon sun) through which you can let in the hustle and bustle of Liechtensteinstraße (which is set to become even more beautiful and green by June thanks to the city planting trees and other plants).The room will be unfurnished (unlike in the photos), so you can get creative and furnish it just the way you like it. If you like, you can keep the closet, the bed and the ceiling lamp for a small fee.
The entire flat is 93 square metres in size. There are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom with washing machine and a WC with window, which is separate from the bathroom. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a living/dining room directly in the entrance. The living area will probably be pretty empty when you move in, because most of the furniture belongs to our current flatmate Tim and he will take it with him when he moves out. So, we can redesign the front room together and you are also welcome to bring practical things into the flat share. The flat is on the 2nd floor. For the lazy there is also a lift...no worries.

Die Lage ist richtig schön - direkt zwischen Donaukanal und Votivkirche. Spar, Billa, Ströck und viele Cafés und Bars gibts in unmittelbarer Nähe, genauso wie das Sigmund Freud Museum. Es ist super leicht sich in diesem wunderbaren Grätzel direkt wohl zu fühlen. Wenn du doch mal raus willst, kannst du super viel spazierend erreichen: in nicht mal 10min ist man z.b. an der Hauptuni, oder am alten AKH, direkt vor der Tür fährt der 40A-Bus weg und die Haltestelle Schottentor (U2, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, D, 1, 71) ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
The area is great - the apartment is located right between the Danube Canal and the Votive Church. Spar, Billa, Ströck and many cafés and bars are in the immediate vicinity, as is the Sigmund Freud Museum. It's super easy to feel at home in this wonderful neighbourhood. If you do want to get out though, you can reach a lot of places on foot: in less than 10 minutes you can be at the main university, for example, or at the old AKH, the 40A bus leaves right outside the door and the Schottentor stop (U2, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, D, 1, 71) is a 5-minute walk away.

Du wirst mit Ann (33) und Georg (26) wohnen. Wir sind selbst beide erst im September letztes Jahr eingezogen. Georg ist letztes Jahr für einen Job nach Wien gekommen und beginnt gerade einen PhD in Meteorologie. Er hat sowohl steirische als auch griechische Wurzeln - eine großartige Kombi, auch kulinarisch :). Wenn er nicht gerade kocht, findet man ihn oft beim Laufen oder Rad fahren an der Donau. Ann ist seit September 2019 in Wien, macht gerade ihren PhD mit Schwerpunkt personen-zentrierte Medizin und hat ihre Liebe zum Laufen entdeckt (gerade trainiert sie auf einen Trailrun in Mai). Sie kommt ursprünglich aus Hamburg und war lange in München (tastet sich also in die Alpenregion vor) - eine ähnlich entspannte (wenn auch nicht ganz so exotische) Mischung.
Bei uns zuhause geht es eher entspannt und ruhig zu, Gäste sind jederzeit willkommen, allerdings sind wir aus der WG-Party Zeit raus. Wir quatschen gerne in der Küche, sitzen gemeinsam beim Essen, wenn es sich ausgeht, und verabreden uns auch mal für einen WG Abend. Eigentlich haben wir uns auch schon öfter vorgenommen mal zusammen ins Museum zu gehen, es bis jetzt aber noch nicht geschafft (schade!) - vielleicht dann ja mit dir gemeinsam.
You'll be living with Ann (33) and Georg (26). We both only moved in last September. Georg came to Vienna last year and is now starting a PhD in meteorology. He has both Styrian and Greek roots - a great combination, also culinarily :). When he’s not cooking you’ll often find him running or biking along the Danube. Ann has been in Vienna since September 2019, is currently doing her PhD with a focus on person-centered medicine and has discovered her love of running (she is currently training for a trail run in May). She's originally from Hamburg and spent a long time in Munich (so she's feeling her way into the Alpine region) - a similarly great (but not quite so exotic) mix.
Our home is rather relaxed and quiet, guests are always welcome, but we're out of the flat party era. We like to chat in the kitchen, sit together over dinner and sometimes arrange to meet up for a flat evening. We've actually planned to go to the museum together several times, but haven't managed it yet (what a shame!) - maybe we'll do it together with you.
