Ich verlasse ab 1. Mai mein Zimmer, aber ein früherer Einzug ab sofort wäre auch schon möglich.
Das Zimmer ist groß, hat bodentiefe Fenster und Parkett Boden sowie ein eigenes, privates Bad mit Dusche, welches vom Zimmer ab geht. Zudem stehen ein 1,40m Bett, Einbauschrank, großes Regal, Schreibtisch und Schreibtischstuhl zur Verfügung. Die Küche hat ebenfalls alles was man brauchen könnte wie zb mehrere Kaffee Maschinen, einen Geschirrspüler, Reiskocher, Backsachen etc. Küche und Wohnzimmer befinden sich in einem großen Raum mit Ecksofa, TV und Blick ins Grüne und auf die Berge. Es gibt mehrere Waschmaschinen pro Stockwerk im Gebäude, ein Kellerabteil und Fahrrad Abstellplatz.
Im Preis sind alle Nebenkosten sowie WLAN inklusive. Du musst aber als ETH Student eingeschrieben/angenommen worden sein.
I'll be leaving my room on May 1st, but we could discuss the move in date and it could be earlier in April already.
The room is quite big, has floor-to-ceiling windows and parquet floors, as well as an ensuite private bathroom.. There is also a 1.40 m bed, built-in wardrobe, large shelf, desk and desk chair. The kitchen also has everything you could need, eg several coffee machines, a dishwasher, rice cooker, baked goods, etc. The kitchen and living room are in one large room with a big sofa, TV and a view of the mountains and surrounding nature. There's several washing machines per floor of the building, a storage room and space to park your bike.
All additional costs and WiFi are included in the price. However, you must be enrolled/accepted as an ETH student.
Die Lage ist ideal für ETH Studenten, da das Living Science Gebäude direkt am ETH Campus auf dem Hönggerberg liegt. Von hier erreicht man auch sehr schnell über den gratis Shuttle Bus den ETH Campus im Zentrum und es fahren regelmäßig Busse Richtung Oerlikon und Altstetten, sodass man auch das Stadtzentrum und weitere Stadtteile in 20min erreicht. Auf dem Hönggerberg gibt es einen kleinen Coop und ein avec24/7. Weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in <10 min in Höngg zu finden. Zudem ist man sehr schnell in der Natur oder im Wald und auch im ASVZ auf dem Campus ist man in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß.
The location is ideal for ETH students, as the Living Science building is right on the ETH campus on the Hönggerberg. From here you can also reach the ETH campus in the center very quickly via the free shuttle bus and there are regular buses going towards Oerlikon and Altstetten, meaning that you can reach the city center and other parts of the city in ~20 minutes. On the Hönggerberg there is a small Coop and an avec24/7. You can find other, bigger shops and supermarkets in Höngg in <10 min. Nature and forest are just outside the building for runs and walks with a nice view over the city. Additionally, the ASVZ on campus is only a few minutes away by foot.
Das Zimmer ist in einer 6er Studenten WG, welche aus 5 ETH Studenten (Master und PhD in verschiedenen Fächern aus Deutschland/Österreich/Frankreich) besteht. Alle sind tagsüber mit Studium oder Arbeit beschäftigt, aber abends trifft man sich gerne beim Kochen oder gemeinsamen Abendessen und unternimmt hin und wieder auch etwas zusammen. Das WG Leben ist recht entspannt, jeder hat auch seine Ruhe, wenn er möchte, aber es dürfen auch gerne Freunde eingeladen werden. Da die WG in einem Studentenwohnheim auf dem Campus ist, bist du umgeben von anderen Studenten. Es gibt außerdem einen Party-/Gemeinschaftsraum den alle benutzen dürfen und es findet sich in der Regel schnell ein anders Zimmer, wenn man hier schonmal wohnt und in der Whatsapp Gruppe mitbekommt, wer demnächst ausszieht.
The room is in a shared 6-person flat consisting of 5 ETH students (Master and PhD in different subjects from Germany/Austria/France). Everyone is busy studying or working during the day, but in the evening we hang out while cooking and eating dinner or watch something together. We are all quite easy going, keep the place relatively clean and everyone also has busy phases every now and then, but you can always invite people over or find someone to chill with.
Also there's lots of students around as the building is for ETH students only and a party room used by everyone in the building. It's often easy to find a room here once you already live here and join the Whatsapp group of the building.
