Hi everyone,
Starting April 2022 I am renting out a non-furnitured room in a 4.5 room apartment in Zurich/Hoengg. The apartment has three private rooms with a large living room, a kitchen area, a balcony and two bathrooms. Calm environment. Standard amenities such as equipped kitchen, fridges, dish washer, washing machine and cellar space are in place, but enough space in the shared areas in case you also want to add some furniture and equipment.
Monthly/annual costs are included in the rent. Currently there is also a bi-weekly cleaning service coming for 70ChF per month. Can be cancelled if we come to an agreement that this is not demanded in the future.
Location is pretty advantageous. Pretty calm and sunny. 5 min by foot to supermarkets (Migros, Coop, Denner, Alnatura), forest, river and bathing spot. Great environment for running/walking either along the Limmat or through forests. 5 min by public transport/bike to ETH Hoenggerberg. 5-10 min to Altstetten/Escher-Wyss Platz. 10-15 min to inner city. 20 min to Schlieren.
The two other inhabitants are a 35-year-old industry scientist (German/Male) and a 24-year-old material engineer student (Taiwan/Male). Pretty relaxed atmosphere and traveling around quite a bit. No particular preferences regarding candidates, apart from being reasonable considerate to other people and the apartment. Foreigners welcome.
No requirement to socialize, but we meet often enough in the living room. Cooking together if timing works out, otherwise chatting a bit about the day and travel plans.
