Visiting scholar seeking flat for immediate occupancy

Hallo! I am a visiting scholar working for the year in the Dahlem area. I am looking for a furnished apartment for my spouse and myself to move in immediately and stay until the middle or end of next August (2018). Ideal areas would be Wilmersdorf, Schoeneberg, Charlottenburg, Kreuzberg, or any neighborhood closer to Dahlem. The ideal apartment will be sunny, have good wifi, a full kitchen (range/stove, refrigerator, sink, etc), a clean and/or recently renovated bathroom with shower (and ideally a full bathtub), and washer-dryer. A/C is not necessary.

We would like to be close to public transportation and grocery markets, and, of course, in a safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We do not mind a walk-up of six floors or less. New renovations in a historic building would be ideal. Proximity to museums or libraries is a bonus.

My partner and I are quiet, respectful, friendly, and very clean tenants with no pets or children, stable income, and good references who are excited to join a Berlin community. Thank you!
