Student looking for a room in an apartment in 5km distance from the city centre

My name is Nera. I am an art student and in need of a place to live in Berlin for a year.
I am 22 years old, from Croatia.
I had previously lived in the United Kingdom for three years, also as a student.
In this period of time I had learned a lot about living abroad and how to be respectful towards the tenants and their space and other flatmates.
For my studies I require a stable wifi connection and a bed, not much more! I don't plan on bringing much stuff along with me.
I would prefer to share the apartment with other students. For now I am searching for a room for the duration of a year, but if everything would be all right, I would prolong the stay for another year.
