More information about me

Hello,

My name is João Barros, and I just recently moved to Munich to work as software engineer for Critical Software GmbH.

I'm 27 years old, and I come from Portugal, where I spent much of my life and finished my studies. I graduated from the University of Aveiro (Portugal) in 2014, after which I started to work as a professional engineer in Porto, for 3 years.

Despite being a major part of my life, engineering and technology are far from being my only interests. Well, in fact, I'm curious about so many things and subjects that I try to get more in touch with different areas, and like to think I can know a little bit of everything, from technology and science to arts or politics.

At the beginning of the year I proposed myself to a new adventure, and I was part of a development team assigned to work for a international project, here in Munich. I lived here for a few months before returning to Portugal. It was undoubtedly a fantastic adventure and a excellent opportunity to get to know the city and the country, and experience life here. Now I've come to stay, work and live in Germany permanently.

I'm looking for a nice 1-room apartment or apartment in a nice neighbourhood near the centre of Munich, to live on my own. I would very much welcome the opportunity to schedule a visit and see any place. I'm looking forward to hear from you.

Cheers,
João Barros
