We're searching for someone to temporarily fill my spot in our vibrant and conveniently located apartment in Grindelhof, Hamburg, starting from June 15th, 2025 till January 1st, 2026 (with a good possibility of extension). Our 2-person apartment is part of an energetic building community, mainly consisting of young professionals and adults aged in their twenties to thirties, making it an excellent place for socializing and making new friends. You'll get a feel for the room I'm vacating from the initial photo, but please note that I'll be taking my monitor and Xbox.
We're looking for an easy-going individual who enjoys a good laugh, values shared mealtime conversations, and likes the occasional weekend getaway. Our apartment is ideally situated with a bus stop right outside, a 7-minute walk to Schlump subway station (connecting to U3/U2 lines), and a 5-minute walk to the University Campus.
The area is bustling with various shops, restaurants, and cafés, with major supermarkets like Edeka, Rewe, Budni, and Aldi all within a 10-minute walking distance. Positioned on the first floor, our apartment overlooks both the lively main street and a peaceful backyard. The bright, south-facing room measures 20m² and comes furnished with a bed, desk, and wardrobe.
The kitchen is a shared space, fully equipped for communal use. My job requires me to be away from Hamburg for 6 months or possibly more. However, I'm not ready to give up my place in this fantastic shared living environment for good. The monthly rent is €1050, covering all bills, heating, and internet.
