Hello dear person,
There is a bright room available on the 1st floor of our 9-person shared apartment. It is approx. 16m² in size, has two windows and is adjacent to the large kitchen-living room. From the window you have a beautiful view of the valley and sun all morning. The room already has -not fancy- furniture: desk, chair, shelf, bed with mattress and pillow, hanger for clothes).
The room will be available from December 1st, until January 31st (two months). On the first floor there are two more rooms, where Miri and Ali live. There is also a large bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The kitchen-living room is also used by other people because a lot of shared living takes place here. It is important to know that your room has a fairly thin and sound-permeable wall to the kitchen-living room. It can also get loud in the evenings, and you shouldn't be too sensitive to noise. Hanna, Michi, and other two people live on the ground floor, where there is also a kitchen and bathroom. Jerry and Mervin live at the top of the second floor and there is also a bathroom there.
So you can see that we have a lot of space (we haven't mentioned our garden yet, but you've probably already seen it in the pictures) and also a lot of people. We really value living together. Of course, such a big house also involves some work and living with a lot of people also requires a lot of time for communication and exchange. We hold regular plenary sessions to exchange ideas. These get-togethers and the associated conversations about life in a shared apartment are very important to us, because otherwise it doesn't happen often that all 9 of us are together. In general, we want open communication in the shared apartment, as well as careful and considerate interaction with one another.
We all have to stick to a cleaning plan where each one has to be in charge of a task weekly.
PS: German is spoken in the WG but mine is veeery limited so, English it is :P.

Location-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our house is located at the beginning of Heidelberg/Schlierbach (sounds far away, but it is only 10 min by bike from the center of the old town). There is a bus stop right in front of the house (2 min walk) and buses leave about every 15 minutes.
We have a large garden where we grow some vegetables and where we spent a lot of time on sunny days. The house is really close to the forest, which can be reached quickly on foot. The forest is really nice and is perfect for hikes or small walks in the nature or to the castle.
In Schlierbach there are not too many shopping possibilities, but at least we have a pizzeria and a REWE.
The house is located next to railroad tracks and the Schlierbacher Landstraße, so there is traffic noise. Our windows are super insulated against the noise, but you can hear the train, especially with open windows.
House life ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We like to spend time together, especially by cooking, movie nights or playing board games. Basically, we are a rather chilled WG, even if it sounds like a lot of hustle and bustle. If you want to have some time for yourself, you can always do so.
Some of us share vegan food. We regularly order large ammounts of organic products. The advantage is that we don't need to go shopping a lot of times, we save some packaging and also not everyone has to cook every day because we are often preparing bigger portions so that others can have some too. We would be happy if you are up for sharing food and cooking together.
Bicycles have their own parking space directly in front of the house entrance.
If you are interested in living with us, please write us something about yourself. We would be happy to get an impression of you as a person.
We are already very curious about you and look forward to your message :)
