After living 1 year in a half in this wonderful WG, I'm moving away and searching for someone to take care of my old flat mates ; )
The room will be free from the 23rd of October and is part of a former family house with 3 floors.
The room is 11m2 and is furnished with:
- A bed (140x200), a desk (different than on the picture of 150x75), a chair, a wardrobe and a shelf.
The rent is 695€(warm), includes the following items:
GEZ, internet, electricity, water and heating.
So you won't have additional cost for the house.
A deposit of around 1043€ is expected.
If you want to bring your own stuff that would be also no problem just let us know (we have a big attic where we can store suitcases, unwanted furniture etc).
If you are not in Munich at the moment, we can of course have a conversation on Zoom (or something similar).

The house is right between the U-Bahn station (U5) Friedenheimer Str. And Laimer Platz. The bus lines 51, 151, 168 as well as a night line, tram 18, 19 can all be reached in less than 10 minutes. The Laim S-Bahn station is only 2 bus stops away. Pretty much all the major supermarkets incl. Penny, Rewe, Edeka, DM are also very close and fortunately, there is a 24/7 open Gas Station nearby which is quite useful if you need snacks or alcohol after 8 pm :) If you want fast food, then it's not a big deal either since McDonald's, Subway and Burgerme aren't far away. Bakers, doctors, pharmacies, banks, restaurants are also in the immediate vicinity.
Since we live in a side street, you can't hear anything from the main street, and you can listen to the birds singing in peace.
They are 7 other people in the WG split between the 3 floors (basement, ground floor and first floor) and come all from a different country, so we are quite international. You may hear from time to time more than one language being spoken in the kitchen at the same time. People are quite friendly and caring. There is always someone to help in case you need it. Usually, at the weekends, we may drink and chat together until late. During summer we also spontaneously do barbecue in our garden or go for a picnic together since West Park is also close to the house or have a party. We also enjoy doing different sports together, so if you like bouldering, biking, badminton or anything else, let us know :))
However, the house isn't that noisy, on the contrary, it is usually quiet during the day as most of us are working people. So, if you're a person who enjoys some quiet time in the house, you're also welcome.
We have a cleaning plan, as well as certain basic rules that are made in accordance with the WG.
The house has a kitchen, 2 full baths and a guest toilet. The washing machine is in the basement and can be used by everyone. The kitchen has all the utility incl. plates, mugs, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machines, generous space in the kitchen shelf, and fridge/freezer for your food.
You might have noticed lots of people in the pictures
- that's because we have a WG "alumni" WhatsApp group where past flatmates keep in touch with current ones
- just showing how much living here feels like a community 💛
In order to make our flat share as stable as possible, we are looking for someone who can imagine living with us for longer (6 months +). If you have read this far, I would ask you a brief description of yourself with your application. Who are you, what do you do, what are your hobbies, which languages do you speak, do you have special skills? :D
