Suche WG-Zimmer in Aachen, vorzugsweise Innenstadt

Hallo,

ich bin um die 30, WG-erfahren (ca. 8 Jahre) und suche ein Zimmer ab ca. 15 qm, vorzugsweise in der Aachener Innenstadt.
Meine bisherige WG hat sich leider ziemlich abrupt aufgelöst, so dass ich nun ebenso abrupt und schnell auf der Suche nach einer neuen Wohngemeinschaft bin.

Wünsche an meine künftige WG:

Offenheit, Toleranz und ein gewisser Sinn bzw. Wille zur Gemeinschaft oder Geselligkeit.

Heißt also: Ein gutes Miteinander und Auskommen - ich wünsche mir KEINE reine Zweck-WG, mit passiv-aggresivem Anschweigen, sondern eine gute Mischung aus Offenheit, Demokratie, Geselligkeit, sowie Toleranz für die persönlichen Grenzen der Mitbewohner.

Hier gibt es ja einen Haufen an eher .. offiziell WohnGemeinschaften, de facto aber "ich will nur mit Leuten meines Alters und Standes verkehren". Inwieweit sich dies auch auf die Sexualität oder das Aussehen bezieht, kann ich so nicht beurteilen, einzelne WG-Besichtigungen deuten aber darauf hin, dass sich das ebenfalls verschlechtert hat.

Im Vergleich zu meiner Suche von vor gut 1 1/2 Jahren hat sich diese extreme Denke leider massiv verstärkt. DIe Pandemie ist wohl eine gute Ausrede für viele, um die eigenen Vorurteile endlich mal offen, ohne Deckmäntelchen der Pseudo-Toleranz, so richtig intensiv auszuloten bzw. -kotsen zu können.

Sonstige für mich relevante Dinge:

Schön wären Spülmaschine sowie ein (abschließbarer) Fahrradkeller, aber kein Muss.
Definitiv ein Muss ist dagegen eine gute Internetverbindung, denn ich bin selbständiger Software-Entwickler u. Webdesigner, arbeite von zuhause aus - und das nicht erst seit Beginn der Pandemie.


Zu meiner Wenigkeit:

In meiner eher spärlich vorhandenen Freizeit koche ich sehr gerne und viel, irre öfters durch die Straßen von Aachen - auf der Suche nach dem nächsten Portal (Ingress) - und mache eine wöchentliche Metal-Sendung auf einem nordamerikanischen Webradio-Sender. Seit kurzem versuche ich mich daran, letzteres auf ein etwas professionelleres Niveau anzuheben.

Außerdem höre ich viel an "alternativer Musik", primär elektronische Klangwelten (z.b. EBM, Industrial, aber auch Progressive House, Chillhop, Drum'N'Base, oder hin und wieder Breakcore, Schranz und sogar Splittercore), Gothic / Darkwave, Metal (Black / Viking / Pagan / Folk / Thrash / Doom / Death Metal, und Artverwandtes) sowie Punkrock. Bin aber auch ab und zu in den Gefilden von (Free) Jazz, Funk und Blues zu finden ..

Desweiteren trinke ich Unmengen an Tee (Tee-Junkie), ab und an ein gutes Bier oder Glas Rotwein - am besten in Gesellschaft - und bin sonst auch ein sehr offener und kommunikationsfreudiger Teilzeit-Mitmensch und -Geek (u.a. Bücher, Musik, Filme / Serien, und natürlich Kochen).

Ich lebe semi-vegetarisch, d.h. so ca. 90 / 10, bin daher natürlich sehr offen ggü. Vegetariern / Veganern.

Hi there,

I'm 30ish, well-versed in living in a WG (Wohngemeinschaft, alias "shared flat"; ca. 8 years), and am searching a new shared flat. My future room should be at least 15 sqm in size, and the flat should be preferably located within the inner boundaries of Aachen City.

My current WG has sadly dissolved quite abruptly, so that I'm finding myself equally abrupt and quickly on the hunt for a new Wohngemeinschaft / shared flat.

Wishes towards a future WG:

Openness, broad-mindedness, and some sense or will towards community (which the second part in "WG" means: Gemeinschaft) or sociability would be greatly welcome. Hence, no plainly functional shared flat, ie. you just live there because the shared space is cheaper. If I wanted to have THAT, I could easily live in a 2-room appartment by myself ^_^ :P

Other nice-to-haves: A dish washer and a (lockable) basement for bicycles. But not a requirement.

What IS a requirement is very good internet connectivity, as I am working as a professional software developer and webdesigner, working from home, and that waaay before the pandemia.
Also, I've been doing a webradio show on a northern american metal station, which requires a reliable upstream; that has been mostly on a hobbyist level in the past, but I want to turn it into something semi-professional, thanks to the rise of live (video) streaming during the last few months (think Twitch, Youtube Live, Mixcloud and the likes).

A few other random remarks about myself:

During my rarely existing spare time, I like to cook a lot, and most of the time, there are left-overs, as I simply cannot reduce myself to cook for less than 2 - 3 people :)
My cooking style could be described as a mix of German, French and Italian cuisine, with a strong focus on vegetarian food. I am not a vegetarian or vegan, but I live on a semi-vegetarian diet, so its roughly 90:10 (10% non-vegetarian diet).

Talking about food, there is also drink: And as I drink a lot of tea, I'm labelling myself as Tea Junky. Also, once in a while, I like some good beer or red wine, preferably in company :)

Music-wise, I listen to a lot of what could be described as "alternative Music", which primarly includes anything electronic (eg. EBM, Industrial, but also Progressive House, Chillhop, Drum'N'Base, and sometimes also Psytrance, Breakcore, Schranz and the likes), Gothic / Darkwave, Punkrock, and of corpse be before-mentioned (Extreme) Metal (Black / Viking / Pagan / Celtic / Folk / Thrash / Doom / Death Metal .. and similar). But I am also open to other music genres, eg. Jazz, Funk or Blues.

Aside of all that, I'm prone to be a very open, talkative part-time human and geek (eg. books, movies / tv shows, music and the before-mentioned cooking passion).
