The room comes pre-furnished with a bed, desk, dresser, mattress, carpet, and a chair. The room itself is quite large with tall alt-bau ceilings and gets great sunlight in the mornings.
The WG itself has four people and two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully furnished with a washing machine, fridge and several other appliances. We also typically share spices and small items available in the kitchen.
Bathrooms themselves are both nice as well. One of them has a washing machine and we also have two drying racks for the flat in the larger of the two bathrooms.
I am additionally selling the couch that is pictured in the apartment for €400, let me know if you reach out if this is something you would be interested in.
Very nice location with the appartment. It is a two minute walk from the U8 and Ring bahn so it's quite easy to get anywhere in Berlin in under 30 minutes. In addition, the S46 runs through Hermanstraße so getting to the airport is just one train in about 30 min.
The street itself is fairly quiet considering it is just two blocks away from Hermanstraße. On the street as well is a Korean, latin, and african restaurant making for a good atmosphere. Rewe and Aldi and DM are each about a 5 minute walk from the apartment and there is a Spati and small grocery down the street for smaller needs.
It is a very relaxed WG. The other tenants are each working in Berlin and we typically don't do any special activities, but overlapping in the kitchen in the evenings and weekends is quite nice for a small chat.
In the apartment as well are two women one a teacher and other a student (23 & 30) and a man who works in music production. (25)
There is no 'hauptmieter' in the appartment. The mangament is run by Covivo, so you will receive and individual contract for just your room and won't be responsible for the apartment as whole.
In addition as part of your contract there is a cleaning service that comes once every two weeks to clean the common areas.
Lastly the radio tax is paid as part of your contract.
