this quiet, spacious unfurnished room will be sublet starting September.
we will consider your application, ONLY IF you are :

) confident you will help us maintain a high standard of cleanliness, order and hygiene at home. don’t apply if you are a messy or don’t follow basic hygiene standards, like taking shoes off at the door and washing hands :’)

the 18m² room is pretty, quiet and can be made into a super cosy space. it has a very high ceiling and one big window facing the courtyard, so you won’t hear any noise from the busy Bornholmer Str.
you can choose to take the room unfurnished or with a 140x200 cm double bed, including a very comfortable, clean foam mattress. our flat is dainty, but decent and thankfully on the ground floor. our bathroom and kitchen have all the essentials.
we live in the wonderful Prenzlauer Berg district, surrounded by an endless number of great places to eat/drink and a diverse mix of very cool people. our flat is located on the historic Bornholmer Straße.
public transport and everything else you need is within short walking distance. from big food stores (Lidl, Aldi, Netto, Rewe, various organic alternatives) to bakeries, cafés, drugstores, pharmacies, restaurants and second hand/vintage shops. very nearby is also the much-loved Mauerpark, renowned for its sprawling flea market, open-air entertainment and lively Berlin vibe.
the tram station "Schönfließer Straße", where you can catch the M13 and 50, is right in front of our house. the S-Bahn station Bornholmer Str. and S/U-Bahn station "Schönhauser Allee" for the U2, S8/85/41/42 are just a 10-minute walk away.
you would live with me (Duana, 31, queer, feminist, fan of all things music, mental health, mindfulness and many other things beginning with m) and the lovely Daniel (24, trans/non-binary, board-gamer, social butterfly, vegan food enthusiast).
we are both self-aware, warm-hearted and open-minded. a peaceful atmosphere at home is important to us. we expect a respectful, relaxed approach to living together, as well as reliability and constructive communication. conversations should be effortless, open, and honest, rather than limited to superficial small talk. no passive-aggressive or shitty behaviour, please.
as for the social aspect - we occasionally catch-up with each other at home, but mainly tend to do our own thing. a new flatmate who is sociable and keen to get to know us, but isn’t specifically looking for flatmates to hang out with often, would be a good match for us.
