Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel:

Unsere Wohnung ist gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln verbunden, so dass es einfach um Berlin zu kommen. Es befindet sich in der Nähe der S Greifswalder Straße, die etwa 12 Gehminuten oder zwei Straßenbahnhaltestellen entfernt ist. Die Straßenbahn M4 hält in der Nähe und bietet eine direkte Verbindung zum Alexanderplatz in wenigen Minuten. Zusätzlich gibt es Straßenbahnhaltestellen für die M13 (die mit der Warschauer Straße und der Hochzeit verbunden ist) und die M12 (die nach Mitte geht). Insgesamt machen die Transportmöglichkeiten das Pendeln und die Erkundung der Stadt sehr bequem.

Einkauf & Täglich Bedarf:

Es gibt zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß. Ein Edeka ist nur drei Minuten entfernt, sowie Aldi, Lidl, DM und ein kleines Einkaufszentrum mit zusätzlichen Geschäften, darunter Rewe und Apotheken. Es gibt auch eine OBI neben Edeka, so dass es einfach ist, alles in der Nähe zu finden.

Nachbarschaft & Umgebung:

Die Gegend ist relativ ruhig, aber wie die meisten von Berlin hat sie einen typischen Stadtverkehr. Der Weißensee See ist ca. 20 Gehminuten entfernt und ist auch mit der Straßenbahn erreichbar und bietet einen schönen Platz für Spaziergänge oder Entspannung.

Lärmpegel:

Die Wohnung liegt in der Nähe einer Kreuzung, also mit offenen Fenstern, kann es ziemlich laut sein, vor allem im Sommer, wenn LKW an der Ampel stoppen. Allerdings sind die Fenster gut isoliert, und wenn geschlossen, sie effektiv blockieren die meisten Lärm, so dass die Wohnung ruhig innen.

Public Transport:

Our apartment is well connected to public transport, making it easy to get around Berlin. It is located near S Greifswalder Straße, which is around 12 minutes on foot or two tram stops away. The tram M4 stops nearby and provides a direct connection to Alexanderplatz in just a few minutes. Additionally, there are tram stops for the M13 (which connects to Warschauer Straße and Wedding) and the M12 (which goes to Mitte). Overall, the transport options make commuting and exploring the city very convenient.

Shopping & Daily Needs:

There are numerous shopping facilities within walking distance. A Edeka is just three minutes away, as well as Aldi, Lidl, DM, and a small shopping mall with additional stores, including Rewe and pharmacies. There is also an OBI next to Edeka, making it easy to find everything you need nearby.

Neighborhood & Surroundings:

The area is relatively calm, but like most of Berlin, it has typical city traffic. The Weißensee Lake is approximately 20 minutes away on foot and is also accessible by tram, offering a nice spot for walks or relaxation.

Noise Level:

The apartment faces the street near a crossing, so with open windows, it can be quite loud, especially in summer, when trucks stop at the traffic light. However, the windows are well insulated, and when closed, they effectively block out most of the noise, making the apartment quiet inside.

I am a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, who works from home most days. So I’m at home during the day but mostly in my room working. Outside work, I enjoy reading books/mangas/news articles, watching shows and movies esp. anime, animated movies, trying new food, and hanging out with friends (both at home and outside). As you can see, I am an indoors person mostly. In general, I’d describe myself as a relaxed and easygoing person.

I’m also queer, so it’s important to me that this is a queer-friendly, open-minded, and anti-racist household. If you have a problem with LGBTQI+ people, this is definitely not the flat for you. I want a home where everyone feels respected and safe.

I’m looking for a shared flat that feels like home, where we get along well and enjoy living together—not just a Zweck-WG (a flatshare where people only share the space but don’t interact). That doesn’t mean we have to be best friends, but I’d love to have a roommate who enjoys an occasional chat in the kitchen, maybe sharing a meal or a drink from time to time, if it feels natural.

I’d love to live with someone who is open-minded, friendly, and respectful of each other’s space and routines. Since I work from home, it’s important to have a balanced mix of quiet time and social moments. The flat is meant to be a place where both of us feel comfortable—whether that means relaxing in our own rooms or hanging out together sometimes.

Cleanliness-wise, I believe in keeping shared spaces tidy without being strict—just the usual respect for each other’s comfort.
