The room is ~17 m² in size and fully furnished with bed (140 x 200 cm), bedding, a bed side lamp, a large wardrobe, desk, desk chair, a carpet, and curtains.
The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms (the smaller is private to bedroom N°1, see floor plan), a large balcony (18 m²) overlooking the garden, and a furnished living / dining room.

The apartment is in a quiet, residential area of Rath, close to the Green lake park Ratingen and the Aaper forest, both of which are great for outdoor activities, sports, etc.
The neighbourhood consists mainly of townhouses and smaller multi-unit houses.

You reach the U72 in 5-7 min by foot. The tram takes you to Ratingen in 7 minutes and D-city centre in around 20 minutes (runs every 10 minutes Mon-Sat, and 15 min on Sundays and holidays).
Westfalenstraße, the closest area with supermarkets, hairdressers, etc. is 3 tram stops or ~10 minutes by bike away. A couple of restaurants incl. a vegan/gluten-free café can be reached in 5 minutes by bike or 15 min easy walk.

There is free parking in the street and surrounding, and typically plenty of space all day including afternoon and evening.

The apartment was recently renovated and is currently occupied by one tenant. From April on, a second tenant (M) will move in.
We hope to be able to be a safe space especially to internationals who begin their life in Düsseldorf, spend an Erasmus semester or an internship here.

Having lived abroad in several countries ourselves, we know that settling in and finding orientation in a new city and country can be challenging. And what a difference a comfortable home-away-from-home can make.
