Hi! My name is Betty (she/her, 30) born and raised in Ecuador, South America. Two years ago, I moved to Germany to pursue my dream of becoming a cartographer, and I’ve been doing an Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Cartography since then. Now, a new chapter of my life is about to begin, as I’m moving to the lovely city of Greifswald to start a new job. :-)

I would describe myself as friendly, funny, and a little bit quiet. I really appreciate having a respectful, clean, and peaceful home environment. At the same time, I enjoy having a good relationship with my roommates, whether that means going out, playing card games sometimes, having an occasional chat, sharing how our day went, or simply having someone around to talk to and listen to. I also completely understand and respect personal space and quiet time when needed.

I absolutely love cats, so having a pet in the apartment would definitely be a big plus for me! Hehe To stay active, I like going for short runs, hiking, and going to the gym. I’m generally more into calm and grounding activities, and I also enjoy crocheting.

I speak Spanish and English, and I’m currently learning German. My German is still quite basic, so I can’t really hold full conversations yet, but I’m doing my best to improve! :)
