Heyyy House Hunters.
I know how hard it must be for you, if you are on here searching for a home. I hope you do find something soon :))
So, there are two rooms available on the second floor of a German home. One of the rooms is about 15sqm (450€) and the other is about 13sqm (400€). The current tenants of the rooms are moving out and would like to offer these amazing rooms to others.
The second floor has it’s own bathroom and toilet. The rooms are well lit and there is A LOT of storage space that you wouldn’t even know what to do with it.
The house is located at Herkommerstaße. It’s really close to the main things you will need. Aldi is like three mins away, walking. Lidl too is around the corner. There’s a gym just close by (clever fit) and there is a bus stop which is also like five mins away, walking distance. The bus stop has a bus that comes quite frequently to the university (every 15 mins) and it’s about a four minute ride from there to KU.
So, if you’re still reading, I guess this kind of makes sense to you. Well, like I said before, the rooms to be rented are on the second floor. You can move in with your friend, sibling but the catch is, you both must be of the same gender😬
The landlord is a kind German guy who is rarely at home. And I mean, rarely. So the house will practically be yours most of the time.
You have access to the kitchen and everything it comes with but no access to the parlor. This house will be best enjoyed if you enjoy living with the person in the room across yours. So it will be best to get this with your friend.
But it is also okay to just come and befriend whoever you meet in the other room.
