Your room will be on the ground floor, together with the bottom bathroom, kitchen and Anas room. It's about 18 square meters and can be very flexibly furnished. At the end of the picture gallery you'll find pictures of the room, furnished in two different ways so you can get a good idea of its size and feel!

The location could hardly be better: The place is right next to the Alte Münze library in the city center, with one side facing Kamp and the other opening to a large courtyard where you can securely park your bike. In the courtyard, there's a small café with benches and chairs where we can relax in the evenings during the summer when the café is closed. It's about a 3-minute walk to the university, with bus stops everywhere. The train station and the university at Westerberg are quickly reachable by bike. Edeka is a 2-minute walk away, and if needed, there's also a small kiosk directly across the street. You're practically surrounded by great dining options!

Looking for a third roommate to join us in this charming apartment in the heart of Osnabrück. Currently we’re two guys sharing this space and have another spare room available for rent.

Here’s a small introduction to your future roommates:

My name is Lucas, I’m 29 years old and I’m doing my Masters in Clinical Psychology. I’ve lived in this apartment ever since I first started my studies in 2021 and I’m still so in love with this place. Apart from studying I work a mini job as a bartender and sometimes don’t come home until late at night, but since I live in the upstairs room this luckily doesn’t cause any problems with noise etc. I also love going to the gym and to read. I did have an extensive party time in my life but nowadays a perfect day for me consists of a good workout, a book and seeing a friend. I do play the guitar and tried teaching Anas and honestly think he’s a completely hopeless case but feel free to prove me wrong! I value my time alone but I also love meeting new people and hang out with my friends - for example Anas!!! Right now, as of writing this text we’re both chilling in our living room and are probably gonna watch a movie afterwards. Perfect night!

i’m anas. i’m 24 years old. i’m originally syrian but i moved to germany last year. i’m pursuing my masters in economics at Osnabrück University. in my free time, i mostly go to the gym. sometimes, i like to go on walks around the city as well. i am also interested in playing the guitar although i’m too shy to practice with people in the house so it’s just collecting dust in my room now…
i also love to cook and i play video games from time to time (sims, gta, etc). i like to say i read but honestly? i haven’t picked up a book in months.
what matters most to me is peace and quiet (especially late at night), cleanliness (plus the shared responsibility), and i like to have my own time alone even in this shared space. you’ll be getting the room next to mine, so we’ll become best friends and make Lucas jealous (although he’s a delight).

We mainly communicate in English so it would be ideal to find someone who’s comfortable speaking English. We also found it a great opportunity for language exchange!

There is an additional payment for some furniture and our big TV that we bought when we first moved in which you would have to pay to Jarla, who is the one moving out of the apartment. Then when you move out one day, you can collect this fee from the person taking your place in the apartment, so it is just a deposit. On top of that, there is also a deposit to the landlord which is 287€.
