The room + the flat
From October, Sophie moved in with us when they we're urgently looking for a room and our convenience was able to provide a room. On the long run, we knew that this would possibly temporary and depending if we can blend in together on a longterm. Sadly, we have decided to part ways and Sophie would like to find a more permanent home by joining an existing WG or starting a new one ( if you know of that, you can also hit us up :) ).
we split rent equally with 435€/each
our current monthly utilities cost is 57€.
we have a very strong internet and we like it that way and so our monthly internet cost is 40€. we prefer splitting the cost equally but we can discuss based on overall internet usage.
The split deposit is 1730€ but we are more than flexible if you pay less but not under 1000€. ask us about it :)
The flat currently has a laundrymachine, dishwasher, microwelle, stove+oven and 2 fridges ( one big that we generally use and one small that we dont because its really small and not necessary in general.
Theres a big balcony, a bathtub and loooots of sunlight.
Wohnkuche and living room is very spacious and comfortable for many people to take space and do their own thing or all together, whether its chilling, working, cooking, etc.
The available room is 11m2 which gets quite a lot of sunlight ., just like the flat.
The 2 other bedroom sizes are 9m2/each but our main living purpose is to share a communal space together and create a sense of "home" together. If you do have your own furnitures, we encourage you to try to mix it with ours.
We are two queer and fun faggots called Hovig (30) and Kem (28) looking for a third roomie in our pretty new Dachgeschosswohnung in 1160 Vienna. We are friends and started a new WG together since June 2023 and hoping you'll be the lucky one to join us.
The flat is located in a very convenient location in the 16th close to gurtel, between Thaliastrasse U and Burgasse/Stadthalle U. Brunnenmarkt is just around the corner and many local shops and cuisins that give a full taste of the 16th districts diversity. A convenient Spar is right under us, with Billa sround the corner and Dm just 5 min walk away. The apartment is on Koppstrasse but get no street noise since we're on top and in the back of the building. The flat is soaked with plenty of sun, which is a plus for you plant lovers and a good way to keep warm in the winter.
First things first: There is Koko living with us - a friendly and playful semi-street dog from Armenia. She’s chill and easy going with humans and loves to hang around on balconies. She's never bothering anyone and she's definitely a cute royal character. We’d like our future roomie to not only „accept“ Koko as a member of the flat, but to be happy about her living with us and to want to interact with her, as you would eith your flatmates.
We’d love our WG to be a comfortable place that we can call home, somewhere that we can all spend time together but not being codependant of each other. It would be great to create a place in which we can rest, have fun, care for each other, be silly, but also be able to just go to our room if any one of us needs space (no hard feelings).
We’d like to live with someone who understands what its like to live in an environment with neurodivergent and ethnic people and how weird we can be.
We are NOT a nudist flat, but both of us like to be comfy with each other being naked or in underwear all the time (especially - as its a DG flat, it will get very hot in summer). It’s important to us to get to know and support each other in a way, in which we can communicate honestly and openly about our needs, wishes and feelings about our shared home. We also share a strong passion for dancing and music which will probably take place in the living room, Hovig has plenty of records and a piano. Kem has a nice TV and a PS4 with some sweet games. We're neither gamers not musicians but we enjoy those elements in our life.
About Us:
Hovig ( 30) Non Binary (they/them+falafel/hummus) is ethnically Armenian, from Canada, has lived abroad for a while and inVienna for the last 6 years. They are currently on longterm krankenstand. When there, they do enjoy hanging out with others, cooking dinner, having a drink or talking and laughing/being silly. On days they are tired, they might just go sleep. They enjoy spending time with Koko when she's around. On their free time, Hovig also enjoys going dancing, socialising to whatever capacity they are capable and as well.
they are into music and would like to go more in the scene but currently sticking to enjoying good music. They are Armenian and love to share about their culture and anything related to it ( there are no wrong questions you can ask when genuinly interested in learning, fyi <3 ) Hilarious, cute, annoying.
Kem is selbstständig, but in Langzeitkrankenstand. He likes his alone time in their room as well as community time together. Also he's a little gaming nerd and most of the times playful and fun to be around. Right now they're into ceramics a lot and want totimeore the night life of vienna again. Outside of the flat you meet them in the gym, in a park or in a café.
We like to cook and eat together and share all the necessities and food in the flat. A clean place is important to us, but we’re not too strict about it being a tidy ass flat 24/7.
Theres more to us than a simple pragraph, but you get the jist.
We have moved in this flat since June 2023 and we have worked to make the place beautiful with furniture art and make it more home and there is always time and space for improvement. The balcony this winter is sad we hope to make it beautiful with our plants again and we hope you would be interested in that too.
