Lage
We are subletting our flat for the last two weeks of August as we will be already moving to our new place. The apartment has very high ceilings which, plus the long hallway, creates a lot of spaciousness. Even though it is only two rooms we (a couple of two) never feel that it is too crowded. We also both work from home sometimes, the Internet works perfectly fine.
The apartment is located in the backyard of the building complex which makes it super quiet (great for work & sleep). There is a big tree in the backyard so if you look outside it‘s all green and you can hear the birds. :)
The apartment will be furnished with essentials but not like on the photos. What will stay: The large table and chairs, the bed, the wardrobe and a bit of kitchen equipment so you will have everything you need for your stay.
The hallway has lots of space for your bikes but there is also space in the backyard.
The other best thing about this apartment is the location.
Public transport: U Südstern is about 2 minutes away
Parks: Hasenheide around the corner, Tempelhofer Feld about 10 minutes away and the closest is Luisenstädter Friedhof, a graveyard but a hidden gem, it is so green and quiet in there, my favourite escape just around the corner.
Shopping: There is plenty of restaurants, cafés, grocery stores and all the other shops around the corner. We are happy to give you lots of tips.
Especially Bergmannstraße which is parallel to our street has a great Kiez charme.
