I´ll be going abroad for starting Oct. 15th, until March 31st, and my roomie is abroad for that period as well, so we are subletting our right now shared 3-room-apartment (750 square ft, 70 square meters). We live here as friends, but the apartment is well suitable for a couple, too.
I inhabit two rooms: The spacious living room (230 square feet / 21 square meter) has a balcony facing South, the small bedroom with a Queensize bed faces the green backyard and is very quiet. The rooms are fully furnished, with a record collection and a small library (Cultural Studies, film studies, gender studies, Critical and political theory, and some novels in German, English and French), a desk and sofa and so on.
The third room, my roomie´s, faces East, but is quite bright due to its big Berlin-style corner window. It has 230 square feet / 21 square meter and also faces the quiet and green backyard. Furniture here includes a platform bed, desk and chair, E-piano, wardrobe, and several shelves.
WiFi and use of towels, sheets and utilities is included, of course.
The apartment is a 1908 Berlin "Altbau", has wooden floors and a bathtub and friendly neighbors from all over the world.
The apartment is located in 200m walking distance from S/U Hermannstraße (Mariendorfer Weg 4), so all parts of the city are easy to reach via Ringbahn or U8.
It´s also close to the huge park Tempelhofer Feld (walking distance 10 minutes), and the back area of the neighborhood is very green.
Shopping facilities are also closeby in walking distance of 2-5 minutes, with one mall at the S/U-station and several shops on Hermannstraße.
It´s a very cozy apartment, and we would be glad to know that nice people are filling in while we are away.
I´ll be happy to provide you with any more information you might need. Let me know if you´re interested, and if possible, come by and have a look!
All the best,
Antonia
