This is an old--fashioned Prenzlauer Berg " we moved in in the 90ties" home. Furnished two room flat, small kitchen with table and chairs, small balcony, one queen size bed, one pull out lounge in the living room, dishwasher, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen and a very morbid backyard. One of the last non - gentrified buildings in the district. The place is not luxurious, yet we love it just the way it is, furnished it with love and are very non - commercially looking for short- term visitors during our holiday who would also be willing to water the plants, respect our home and leave the place in the condition they find it in. We are happy to provide bet sheets and towels, everything else can be discussed. Again, this is not a commercial holiday home and not a long-term sublet possibility.
Our home lies in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, close to public transport (SBahn, UBahn, Tram, Bus) and about 15 mins away from some of Berlin's sights suchs as the TV Tower, Brandenburger Tor, Unter den Linden, Museums Insel besides being surrounded by small designer boutiques, cafes and restaurants. By bycicle or Ubahn you are not far from Kreuzberg (15- 20 mins) or can catch a boat trip through the city at Berlin Dom, 5 mins from Alexanderplatz. There's a playground around the corner and a kid's playcafe in the parallel street in case you are travelling with younger family members :-)
There is a couple of Berlin's famous "Spätis" literally around the corner, as well as a small conventional supermarket, an organic supermarket is five more mins down the road as well as the fabulous Goldhahn and Samson delicatessen store, where u can also grab a coffee while exploring the fantastic variety of spices, liqueurs, chocolates and bakeware they offer. If you are serious wine lovers I have a few more recommendations up my sleeve.
Parking is availabe down the road in the parking garage at "Kulturbrauerei". k
