Wir vermieten unser Zuhause an dich, während wir uns auf eine längere Reise begeben. Selbstverständlich sorgen wir dafür, dass du genug Platz in Schränken und Kommoden findest. Alle persönlichen Dinge werden wir jedoch nicht entfernen können. Es bleibt also der Charme eines Familienzuhauses bestehen – mit vielen Vorteilen für dich als Mieter:

Von Gewürzen und einem vollen Vorratsschrank bis hin zu Bücherregal, Playstation und Co. steht dir all das zur Verfügung, was du auch in deinem Zuhause in den Schränken und Regalen hättest.
Im Detail: Küche Da wir beide leidenschaftliche Hobbyköche sind, kannst du dich auf eine voll ausgestattete Küche freuen. Moderne Kühl-/Gefrierkombi, Induktionskochfeld, Elektroofen, Siebträger-Espressomaschine, KitchenAid, Eismaschine, scharfe Messer und Werkzeuge, fortgeschrittenes Bar-Equipment und vieles mehr warten darauf, benutzt zu werden. In der Küche selbst befindet sich ein großer Esstisch aus Holz, an dem entspannt bis zu acht Personen Platz haben.
Der Balkon, der an die Küche angrenzt, zeigt Richtung Osten und bietet Platz für bis zu vier Personen für ein sonniges Frühstück. Schlafzimmer Das großzügige und schlicht gehaltene Schlafzimmer zeigt Richtung Westen und spendet dank großer Erkerfenster viel Abendsonne. Das selbstgebaute Massivholzbett misst 2,00 x 2,00 m und ist mit hochwertigen, eher festen Matratzen ausgestattet. Decken, Kissen, Handtücher und Bettwäsche stehen dir zur Verfügung. In den Kleiderschränken im Schlafzimmer findest du viel Platz für deinen Kofferinhalt.

Das Wohnzimmer besticht mit einem Mix aus Möbeln, von den Sesseln der Großeltern aus den 60ern bis zum modernen Bücherregal. Mach es dir auf dem Sofa bequem und genieße den 65" 4k Fernseher samt 5.1 Sound und Plattformen wie Netflix, Prime Video und eine Playstation 4. Dazu findest du eine große Menge Blu-rays, DVDs und PlayStation-Spiele. Am Wohnzimmer befindet sich der zweite, etwas kleinere Balkon mit Aussicht nach Westen.

Das "rote Zimmer" Unser drittes Zimmer ist ein buntes Mehrzweckzimmer für Arbeit und Freizeit. Hier findest du einen voll ausgestatteten Arbeitsplatz mit einem extrem bequemen, ergonomischen Schreibtischstuhl, 31,5‘‘ 4k Monitor und Premium Maus-/Tastatur-Kombination sowie einen modernen Tintenstrahldrucker. Zudem steht hier ein weiteres Sofa zum Entspannen sowie ein cooler Turnierkicker. Hier und in den Schränken im Wohnzimmer finden sich diverse Brett- und Kartenspiele.

In der Küche, dem Wohnzimmer und im "roten Zimmer" kann unkompliziert Musik über Sonos-Boxen und den HiFi-Receiver als vernetztes System abgespielt werden. In der gesamten Wohnung steht WLAN mit durchschnittlich 500 mbits zur Verfügung.

Während der Rest der Wohnung aus großen Räumen besteht, fällt das Badezimmer deutlich kleiner aus. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail haben wir das Bestmögliche herausgeholt. Hier findet sich eine auch als Dusche zu nutzende Badewanne. Auch die moderne Waschmaschine hat hier Platz gefunden.

Das Gebäude ist ein klassischer Berliner Altbau vom Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts. Nahezu alle Nachbarn sind sehr freundlich und gute Freunde wohnen eine Etage höher. Sie helfen, ebenso wie unsere Berliner Familie, gerne bei allen Fragen und Problemen.
Im unmittelbaren Umfeld befinden sich mehrere Biomärkte, ein türkisch/arabischer Supermarkt, Blumenläden, ein Getränkemarkt, Cafés und vieles mehr. In gut 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichst du den S+U-Bahnhof Rathaus Steglitz und damit den öffentlichen Nahverkehr und mit der Schlossstraße eine von Berlins größten Einkaufsstraßen.

We are renting out our home to you while we embark on a long journey. Naturally, we will ensure that you find enough space in wardrobes and drawers. However, we will not be able to remove all personal belongings. Therefore, the charm of a family home remains – with many advantages for you as a tenant:

From various spices and a fully stocked pantry to bookshelves, a PlayStation, and more, you will have access to everything you would have in your own home. In detail: Kitchen As we are both passionate hobby cooks, you can look forward to a fully equipped kitchen. A modern fridge/freezer combo, induction hob, electric oven, italian espresso machine, KitchenAid, ice cream maker, sharp knives and tools, advanced bar equipment, and much more are ready to be used. The kitchen itself features a large wooden dining table that comfortably seats up to eight people. The balcony adjoining the kitchen faces east and offers space for up to four people for a sunny breakfast.

The spacious bedroom faces west and, thanks to large bay windows, gets plenty of evening sun. The handmade solid wood bed measures 2.00 x 2.00 m and is equipped with high-quality, firm mattresses. Duvets, pillows, towels and bed linen are provided. The wardrobes in the bedroom offer plenty of space for your belongings.

The living room impresses with a mix of furniture, from the grandparents' armchairs from the 60s to the modern bookshelf. Make yourself comfortable on the sofa and enjoy the 65" 4k TV with 5.1 sound and platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, and a PlayStation 4. Additionally, you will find a large collection of Blu-rays, DVDs, and PlayStation games. The living room has a second, smaller balcony with a west-facing view.

The "Red Room" Our third room is a colourful multi-purpose room for work and leisure. Here you will find a fully equipped workspace with an extremely comfortable ergonomic desk chair, a 31.5" 4k monitor, and a high-end mouse/keyboard combo as well as an inkjet printer. There is also another sofa for relaxing and a cool tournament-standard foosball table. Here and in the living room cabinets, you will find various board and card games.

In the kitchen, living room, and the "red room," music can be easily played through Sonos speakers and the HiFi receiver as a networked system. Throughout the entire flat you'll enjoy high-speed WiFi with around 500 mbits.

While the rest of the flat consists of large rooms, the bathroom is considerably smaller. With much attention to detail, we have made the most of it. Here you will find a bathtub that can also be used as a shower. The modern washing machine is also located here.

The building is a classic Berlin townhouse from the early 20th century. Nearly all the neighbours are very friendly, and good friends live one floor up. They, along with our Berlin family, are happy to help with any questions or problems. In the immediate vicinity, there are several organic food stores, a Turkish/Arab supermarket, florists, an off-licence, cafés, and much more. Within a good 10 minutes on foot, you can reach the S+U-Bahn station Rathaus Steglitz and thus public transport, as well as Schlossstraße, one of Berlin's largest shopping streets.
