Hi all,
My girlfriend and I (she's 26, MA student, I'm 28, postdoc) are looking for a housemate for our two-bedroom WG, who will be able to take over the contract for the whole flat when we move to a friend's place in the next few months. Once that happens, you can rent the whole thing for yourself, make a WG, etc., it's up to you. If you're interested in short-term rental of the room, that's OK with us too. The listed price is for the whole flat; 950 includes Nebenkosten, but not electricity, gas and water. For the short-term, while we are still there, divide the price by two.
Right now, the flat is completely furnished. It's clean, modern and quite large, with central heating, big windows, hot water, lighting, curtains, etc. The kitchen is quite nice, with modern appliances, including dishwasher and microwave. Plates, bowls, cutlery, cooking instruments etc are provided, but of course you can bring your own stuff too! The living room has a big comfortable couch and Smart TV and Chromecast. Its windows overlook the street. It's a great place to chill out in the evenings, or to bring friends over to party on the weekends.
Bathroom isn't so huge, but has a nice bath and shower and washing machine. There is no access to the cellar of the building, but there is a storage room in the main hallway.
The room for rent is currently furnished with a queen-sized bed, bedside tables, lamp, etc. The windows also overlook the street. Because we're moving, if you want to replace the current bed with your own, or anything like that, that should be fine too!
When we move out, we'll be taking some things with us, and leaving others behind (especially the larger furniture, kitchen, lights, curtains, etc). We're happy to sell these on for the same price we bought them for when we moved in. Exact prices will depend on what you want to keep, what we want to take with us, etc.
The flat is right in the middle of the Altstadt, between Stiftskirche and Rathaus. This means that Neckarbrücke, Wilhelmstr and Edeka are each about two minutes away on foot. Location is pretty much ideal, really. Hauptbahnhof is about 7 or 8 minutes by foot, too, which isn't too bad at all!
If you need any more details about this, just send a message, but Tübingen isn't so huge, so it should be more-or-less self-explanatory!
As I wrote earlier, my girlfriend and I are going to move to a friend's flat in the next couple of months. Before then, we'd like to have a housemate to fill our empty room. Once we're gone, you can take over the whole contract, and do with it as you will. We don't yet know the exact date for our moving out, but should know soon!
The room is available immediately. You can come pretty much any evening and take a look, please just send an email and we'll arrange it.
The best thing for now is for you just to write if you have any questions about the specifics. We can also discuss it in person if you want to come over!
Thanks :)
