I am going to stay in Munich for some time, so I would like to sublease it for that period of time. The apartment is on the upper floor(1st or 2nd depending on your country of origin) of a two story house. On paper it's 55 m2, but actually larger (>60m2) because of the incline of the roof. The rent is for the apartment alone plus all utilities (850€ / month). All the furniture belongs to me, but you are welcome to use it for free. It has a bath room with bath, a fitted kitchen, a separate dinning room, a bed room and a big living room with balcony. It can also be shared between two people (2er-WG).
Oh, right, it has a gas stove, which is very cool and a true rarity.
The apartment is located 5min away from the TUM Weihenstephan campus. You can actually see many university buildings from the balcony. Bus 638 is just around the corner and will take you into town for 5min, where you can shop for food, clothing, bungee cord, etc. Another 2min you will be at the train station, from where it's 23min by train to Munich. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and peaceful, so it would be nice it you keep it that way.
All the rooms are smoke free and pet free. You may smoke on the balcony, however. The landlords are a German couple and you will also need their approval to move in as well. They are really nice and helpful people, though. :-)
If you have a car, you can either park on the street or at the University. Both are free.
