My roommate and I are with great memories leaving behind our shared flat that we resided in for the last 3 years as we are moving out of Aachen. The shared flat consists of 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a storage closet room. It is on the first floor and is in a very pleasant neighborhood. The apartment is also very well lit by sunlight, as both the rooms have large windows. One of the rooms has a french balcony (floor-connected window). The floor plan is rectangular. The entire flat can be taken over and shared between 2 people on a permanent basis. Additionally, the extra costs such as electricity, gas, and internet can be set up on your own with contracts according to your choice, offering a lot of flexibility with the overall costs.
Any additional questions regarding the apartment can be easily solved through a quick phone call, an online viewing, or a visit after fixing an appointment!
The flat is directly on the Aachener Ring, and bus lines 54, 3 and 13 can be reached in a few minutes at the Eurogress bus stop, Bastei busstop or the Ehrenmal/Lousberg bus stop (Approximately 3-4 minutes by walk). The student street Pontstraße is 7 minutes by walk. Therefore, shopping at REWE, various snack bars and restaurantsis a short walk away. The city centre and Rathausplatz are 10 minutes away by walk. The RWTH main building is 10 minutes away by walk. The RWTH gym HSZ Königshügel is 20 mins by walk. Additionally, the Aachen bushof is 8-9 minutes by walk and all buslines are accessible from here. Also, kiosks, pizza shops and Café Bar Zuhause are next to the house.
The flat is in a very nature central location and the Lousberg/Europapark parks are right behind the house, making it an excellent location to go for a quick jog or be in nature.
Some perks about the house:
-The kitchen has a gas connection, which offers an excellent opportunity to utilize a gas stove/gas oven. We have found this to be much better than other stoves.
-The nebenkosten contracts can adjusted and arranged with companies of your choice, after having a word with the landlord. This way, the nebenkosten can be controlled according to your needs.
-The apartment stays surprisingly cool in the summers, and is comfortably warm in the winters.
-One of the rooms comes fully furnished while the other needs furniture. The furniture costs for the room can be discussed in detail later.
-The furniture in the kitchen including the washing machine, fridge etc. can be bought for a small fee.
