The apartment is located on a very quiet side street in Moabit (Mitte), close to the Turmstr. subway station on the U9.
The apartment was renovated a year and a half ago, and most of the furniture and light fixtures are antique or almost antique. It's clean and uncluttered, and the closets will be left empty (except for one compartment in the large closet).
There are several grocery stores around the corner (Kaiser's, an organic grocery store, two Turkish supermarkets, and a Middle Eastern/South Asian supermarket, and there's a large Asian supermarket by the subway station) and nice restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood.
The apartment is three blocks from the Spree, which you can walk or bike along to Tiergarten. There is also a direct bus to Tegel Airport. It's two kilometres from the Technische Universitaet Berlin and a very short distance by bike or transit to the centre of Mitte, Potsdamer Platz, Hauptbahnhof, and Charlottenburg.
The rent is less than I pay for rent and utilities, as I'm hoping to find responsible folks who will treat the place with care, and who don’t mind watering the plants once a week.
The photos of the second bedroom are of much poorer quality. I had a professional photographer take the photos of the rest of the apartment, which is why they look so much nicer.
The dates are flexible, but I’d prefer to find someone who wants to rent it for as close to the whole time as possible.
