Dear tenants looking for an apartment in Berlin,
unfortunately this apartment cannot be rented on this platform because my account has been deactivated several times without any valid reason. The website tells me that this is because anyone can flag anyone and then that person gets deactivated and then others can't see the ads and cannot contact them and they don't want to change this mechanism.
While it might prevent scams in some cases, it certainly enables other landlords to flag apartments that are offered cheaper than theirs. And it also enables Nazis to flag those who promote tolerance and rent to everyone.
If you were interested in this apartment, please let the website know that this mechanism is NOT appreciated.
Looking forward to meeting you on other (foreign) platforms as long as activism and freedom of speech is inofficially censored in Germany this way!
