3 minutes: bus stop Darmstädter Landstraße with downtown bus lines 30 and 36 to Konstabler Wache

10 minutes: Schweizer Straße with apple wine pubs, restaurants, and up-market shops, Südbahnhof with S and ICE connections (also to be reached by direct bus).

15 minutes: Main riverbank and Museumsufer, famous painting and sculpture gallery, cinematographic Museum etc.

15 minutes: ELEMENTS. Frankfurt´s best gym at Henninger Tower landmark. Spacious training and spa area with penthouse swimming pool overlooking the City.

The bus route 45 with bus stop 1 min. from our house takes 5 mins to Südbahnhof, walking distance is only 10 mins. From Südbahnhof it is possible to connect to the subway system
(U-Bahn) & regional trains/ railway.

We are a British/German retired couple and look forward to finding a quiet friendly person to live on our top floor apartment. As we will share our front door, we hope you are looking for a home away from home with a private apartment but with occasional contact with your hosts. (We also have a house dog). There is a terrace & small garden attached which may be shared in warm weather if desired.

I worked remotely from my home office on the top floor during the lockdown, and I enjoyed Bobby´s company as I wandered through the residential neighbourhood and nearby woods. They were especially welcoming to my family and friends who visited from home, and we celebrated many occasions together – birthdays, anniversaries and even New Year’s Eve. Chrissie, Petros (and Bobby) soon became a new family to me, and their warm presence gave me a real home for the almost 3 years spent under the same roof. "I have been living in this cute apartment for 1.5 years. It has great location with supermarkets, gym, restaurants and Stadtwald at walking distance. The neighborhood is very nice, you would enjoy a walk around the block. It is easy to reach via public transportation (10min walk to Südbahnhof). The rooms are very bright and spacious and equipmentwise it has everything you could need. I love the cozy atmosphere it has and I enjoy spending time at home very much.
