Die Wohnung besteht aus 2 Zimmern, einer offenen Küche, einem Badezimmer und einem Balkon (32 Quadratmeter).
Nachdem im Eingangsbereich die offene Küche mit Kühlschrank und Ofen passiert wurde, kommt man in das große Wohnzimmer, dass durch die tiefen Fenster sehr hell ist. Hier findet sich neben einem schönen Essens- auch ein großer Arbeitstisch, Bilder und verschiedene Schränke. Aus der anliegenden Tür geht es nun auf den Balkon, der fast den ganzen Tag sonnig ist (Südwestbalkon), Platz für verschiedene Obstpflanzen bietet und mit Holz ausgelegt wurde. Drinnen findet sich das Schlafzimmer, in dem ein großes Bett, ein Schlafschrank sowie eine Kleiderstange stehen und indem man durch das Fenster Richtung Süden einen Blick auf den Balkon / den Sonnenuntergang hat. Das anliegende Badezimmer bietet viel Stauraum und eine große Dusche.
Alle Möbel / Utensilien (Bett, Schränke, Tische, Sonnenliege, Radio, Ofen, Ventilator, Deko, etc.) werden untervermietet und können ganz normal mitbenutzt werden. Zusätzlichen Stauraum bietet ein Kellerabteil, etwaige Autos & Fahrräder können im mit vermieteten Tiefgaragenstellplatz abgestellt werden.
Strom, WiFi, etc. ist alles in der Miete enthalten.

The flat comprises a living room, a bedroom, an open kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony (32 square meters).
Passing the open kitchen with its fridge and oven, one enters the bright livingroom (three big windows), home of a dining table as well as several cabinets, some nice artwork and a large working table. Straight ahead lies the sunny balcony (direction southwest), where one can find a small table and some fruit plants. Looking through the window to the left, one can see the big bed and the rest of the bedroom / the beginning of the bathroom, which is very big and comprises a nice shower.
All the furniture / everyday objects (bed, cabinets, tables, sunlounger, radio, oven, fan, decoration, etc.) will be sublet. There is a cellar compartment for extra storage space, as well as an underground parking for cars and bicycles.
Electricity, WiFi, etc. is all included in the rent
Die Wohnung befindet sich am Beginn des Stadtteils Vauban, der ziemlich grün ist. Hier finden sich neben Rewe, Alnatura und DM auch ein nettes Restaurant mit schöner Sommerterasse, ein Dönerladen, eine Sparkasse, ein Hotel, drei Bäckereien und die SUSI, wo gerade im Sommer so manches Konzert stattfindet. Zu Fuß ist all dies in 5 Minuten erreicht. Hinter dem Viertel liegt der Schönberg, auf dem Wein nicht nur angebaut, sondern auch lecker getrunken werden kann.
Der Ein-/ Ausgang der Wohnung findet sich verkehrstechnisch perfekt gelegen direkt gegenüber der Tramhaltestelle Peter-Thumb-Straße. Mit der Linie 3 ist man in 10 Minuten in der Stadt / an der Uni Zu Fuß dauert der Weg in die Innenstadt ca. 25 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad 8 Minuten.
Insgesamt ist die Lage echt spitze, da es ruhig genug ist um zu entspannen (gerade der Schönberg lädt zu Abendspaziergängen ein), jedoch nahe genug am Zentrum von Vauban gelegen, um fußläufig alles alltägliche zu erledigen und mit der Tramhaltestelle ist man auch bestens an die Innenstadt / Uni angebunden.

The flat is situated in the green quarter Vauban, where you can find everything you need (three supermarkets, a nice restaurant with a big terrace, a kebap, a bank, a hotel, three bakeries and the SUSI – a nice spot for beer and concerts especially in the summer). All this in 5 minutes walking distance from the flat. Right behind the Vauban quarter lies the Schönberg – a small mountain where you can not only watch the vineyards but taste some nice wine in the restaurant on top of the hill.
Public transport connections are really good since the tramstop „Peter-Thumb-Straße“ is situated right in front of the entry / exit of our building. Taking the tramline 3 you'll be in the city / at the university within 10 minutes. By feet the city centre is a 25 minutes walk and by bike you can reach the university within 8 minutes.
All in all one can say, that the location of the flat is really good, since it is quiet enough to relax and close enough to Vauban / the city to be able to reach whatever you want really quick.
Wir wünschen uns eine/n Untermieter/in (oder auch ein Untermieterpaar), dass die Wohnung für den gesamten Zeitraum untermietet und mit unseren Möbeln umgeht, als ob es ihre eigenen wären. Da wir selbst ein Erasmus-Semester machen, freuen wir uns auch über Erasmus-StudentInnen.
Unter Umständen kann die Mietzeit bis Ende Februar / Anfang März verlängert werden.
Über alles weitere (Kaution, Organisation, Tipps, etc.) sprechen wir gerne bei einer Wohnungsbesichtigung / oder per Skype.

We'd like a subtenant (or a subtenant couple), that rents the flat for the whole time (August till February) and treats our furniture as if it were their owns. Since we're leaving ourselselves for an Erasmus-Semestre, we're also open to host other Erasmus-Students.
Conceivably the time frame can be extended till end of February / debut of March.
All further questions (deposit, organization, tips, etc.) can be answered while you visit the flat / via Skype.
