Auch an den Unistrand sind es 10- 15 Min. mit dem Rad. Der Stadtpark ist 5 Min. von der Wohnung entfernt. Ein Reiterhof ist 5 Min. entfernt, eine neue Sporthalle ist hinter dem Schönwalde- Center über die Straße.
Aldi Nord, das Schönwalde Center mit Rewe, Stadtsparkasse etc. sind gleich auf der anderen Straßenseite.
Das Wohnheim ist ruhig und gepflegt, mehrere abschließbare Fahrradräume sind vorhanden.
